This guitar is not a tiny little travel ukelele, like a lot of other travel guitars. It is about the body size of a les paul with a 22 1/2" (approx) scale. It has the same electronics as a balladeer, so it is a most gig worthy guitar. I owned one in the past and sold it, but am seriously considering buiying another one to use as a stage guitar. It is a very comfortable guitar to play and it is way cool.

Feature:
This little Ovation travels the world with me. It has fit in every over head on every airline between Alaska and Africa.

Quality:
Though it comes with only a gig bag, the Trekker has been holding up just fine. Tough little axe. I am going to buy another, they can't keep making them for this price!

Sound:
I give this little guitar a 7 for sound because of the pick-up and ability to plug it in. Alone.... not bad considering where you can take it to make music.

Even though my wife claims that the little guitar looks like a tupperware bowl, I love it. The neck play's great and it sounds good even without being plugged in. Once plugged in it really comes into it's own. The Martin Backpacker is going in the closet.

Just made it back from Port Gentil, Gabon Africa. Maiden voyage for the Trekker. This little guitar fit in every overhead compartment. It holds it's tune and sounds GOOD. The neck is a sweetheart to play. I am breaking into the bank and buying another one. They can't keep up the quality for this price for long.

its a small guitar, but no to small, its still is great guitar for gigs or just to hang out with. the multi sound hole gives a beautiful sounding voice, les bass and lots of highs. i wouldn't recomend this guitar to people with really fat fingers because the fret size is pretty tight. but all in all, this guitar is good for bigginers and even the experienced guitarist. its sweet man. i hightly recomend a guitar strap because of the round back it has, it tends to slip off your leg pretty much of the time.
