Feature:
Comes with many, many presets of sounds, but, best of all, you can make your own! Just find a preset, tweak the knobs, and find the sound you were looking for. You can also just mess around with the thing if you dont know what you're doing, and still get a great sound.
Quality:
My friend has had this thing for a LONG, LONG time, and it still sounds like he had just bought it. Looks the same, too, with not a ding or scratch on it. I once dropped it on a hardwood floor, and suddenly felt a wave of horror within me. But I picked it up, and it looked and worked exactly the same. Very durable.
Value:
DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT assume the POD Line 6 is better than the J-Station just because the POD is twice the price. The POD has a very thin, nasaly sound to it. The POD may have more amp models, but with the J-Station, you can download more amp models online!!
Desirability:
I have wanted this baby FOREVER, and I finally ordered it yesterday. Has a great, sleek design, is very lightweight, and packs quite a punch. Get this if you're on a tight budget, but still want high-quality amp model sounds. Trust me, $150 is nowhere near as much as you would pay for just one of the many amp models on the J-Station. In fact, the Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier (One of the great amps on the J-Station) alone is sometimes over $1600!!
Sound:
The sound is awesome. Unless you have one of the amp models that are on the J-Station, and compare both of their sounds for 3 hours straight, then you wouldn't even recognize the difference.
Support:
They have a phone number and website for customer support, though I've never used them. But I guess Johnson would be very helpful, in case something happens.
Overall:
I'll probably never buy anything else now that I'm getting the J-Station. Until Johnson creates another, more improved J-Station, with even better sound quality and more amp models and effects, I'll stick with this baby.
