I will change nothing. I like everything about it. I will not replace it, because I don't need to. I had anticipated MUCH lower quality, given the low price. I figured it didn't matter too much and I could take a chance on it (look, I'm not wiping with hundred dollar bills or anything, but let's face it, a 1x12 for this price SEEMS like an iffy prospect, so I was prepared to get burned and have to take advantage of Zzounds' return policy)... Color me shocked and very happy indeed. I have never been this pleased with a "budget" item before. My THD Univalve sits on top of it very well. I was thinking about removing the Jet City logo, but no way! They're making super high quality products for a remarkably low price, I'm not going to act like I'm ashamed to be using their cab. It's a great cab. I'll probably end up buying the Picovalve too, now, just on the basis of how awesome this cab sounds with my Univalve.
Sound
Fantastic. I expected to have to replace the speaker, I had no concept that something this inexpensive could sound just right out of the box. It sounds amazing with my THD Univalve and pedals. Won't change a thing about it, there's just no need to.
Features
It is a 1x12 cabinet. For the market, it has all the expected features.
Ease of Use
Well, if you can't figure out how to match your amp's output to the cabinet's impedance, you probably shouldn't be using amplifiers. Past that it's plug and play. And play, and play, and play, and play...
Quality
I bought it expecting to have to install supporting trusses, cross-bracing, SOMETHING, but no, from the factory the son of a gun is at least as well made as its usually $600+ competition. Real metal corner protectors on all eight corners, too, with screws holding them in. Even the stuff that really doesn't matter at this price - the secure piping, the tightly on logo, the non-bubbly well-applied tolex - is still all of the same quality I would expect from an American or British manufacturer. This has me incredibly interested in other Jet City products, now, because if they treat the lowly 1x12 cabinet with this much care, their factory is clearly putting out good stuff. The dimensions of the cabinet and the Eminence driver in it are very well matched. It sounds as big as a 4x12 but it's a lot easier on your back. Microphone friendly.
Value
Wowee. I don't know if it's a sale or what, but the price new for this item is -hilariously- low. I expected cardboard and got 3/4" void-free hard ply. I expected mediocre and got perfectly fine. This isn't "good for the money," it's just good.
Manufacturer Support
No idea, haven't needed support nor do I anticipate it.
The Wow Factor
The best fit and finish in the world isn't going to make a 1x12 look sexy, but it absolutely fills a hole in the market for a great sounding 1x12 that doesn't break the bank. Big domestic manufacturers expect you to pay MUCH more for the same quality. Even Avatar Speakers, who make fine cabinets and are rightly regarded as one of the best values around, can't match the price on this unit. An unloaded 1x12 from them, on clearance, costs almost twice the price of this fully loaded 1x12.

If my Jet City JCA12S Guitar Speaker Cabinet was stolen I'd replace it with the same thing in a heartbeat.
Sound
So far I've used this two ways: 1. As an extension cabinet for a Peavey Classic 50 410. This is the primary reason I purchased the product. To my ears, it does two things for this setup (a.) it mellows the "sharpness" of the OEM C50 speakers, and (b.) it complements the OEM speakers thus adding a richness to the sound. 2. Plugging it into my VOX AC4TV disables the VOX's OEM speaker. As a standalone speaker, the cabinet works just fine.
Quality
The build quality is traditional "American," i.e., I might not be able to drive a truck over it and have it survive but it just might. It can certainly withstand years of "toss it in the van at the bottom of the pile" abuse.

Ok, I bought this because I have the Jet City JCA20H Amp and the JCA12S+ Cab, and I wanted a full stack version. Just like everything else from Jet City...this is a monster.. The addition of this cab brought out a more intense roar to the entire full stack set up. It did help that I took the back panel off of the 12S+ Cab to make it "open back". So I get the Open Back Combo fullness with the focused sound of the 12S. I'm planning on getting one more of these cabs because I just got the JCA2112 Combo, and I need another cab for that one. Because of the size of the set up, I'm planning on running 2 full stacks in stereo!
