This speaker is Awesome! When you choose a speaker it is important to decide your priorities. If you want clarity, tight bass and wide dispersion of mids and highs, then this is the speaker for you.If, you will be transporting the speaker(s) frequently, then they can be cumbersome and heavy.Build quality and power are exceptional and if taken care of they should perform with no issues for years. These speakers are not inexpensive, however zZounds has some pretty cool payment options to help you out.I'm coming up on a year that I've owned this speaker and it is slammed out every single day and night.Reasonable care is required when owning any speaker that is subject to temperature extremes such as keeping them out of direct sunlight if its over 85 or below freezing...let them warm up and increase power slowly or your going to destroy your woofer and fry your amp.If, you need to bleed your ears then the SRX Series may be the one you, for more cash and weight along with dimensions. Sonically, I like the PRX much better but with every speaker decision, it's up to you to decide what sounds good.

I bought these thinking I would upgrade from mackie since jbl is supposed to be a well known company and my Mackie srm that I was supposed to be upgrading with this sounded better had more punch and overall performed better the jbl speaker got overheated in gig while my mackies srm 450 kept going with no issues.if I could go back in time I would have invested in other speakers rather than this.and di I mention they are super heavy for what they bring to the table.
