Amazingly sturdy and great looking stands. Do an excellent job of suspending my JBL monitors. I'm able to position them exactly where they need to be for my listening position. Well worth the money. Only thing that could make it better is maybe giving a few more options to adjust height and angle. It worked perfect for what I needed, but for someone else they might need a few more options depending how the desk is setup. Manufacturer support is fantastic! The set I got only had risers for one monitor in the box. After a quick and easy call to Zzounds and an email to IsoAcoustics, I had the other set within a couple days.

Was skeptical about buying some metal and plastic stands for my Yamaha HS8's but when they came highly recommended by some trustworthy, knowledgeable sound engineers. I'm amazed, and have already bought a couple more pair for my other monitors. They make your DAW desktop look more appealing, even more so than the Auralex foam, and they are some great space savers. Definitely pick yourself up a few pairs. I saw a couple reviews where people were saying they don't keep their monitors stable ... you probably went cheap and bought yourself the wrong size stands.

I was extremely skeptical about paying $100 for some plastic and rubber pieces and metal tubing, but they are worth every penny. When combined with my Yamaha HS5 monitors, the stereo image is perfect, instrument separation is surgical, I can hear details I never thought possible. It seriously makes mixing 100% easier. If you're serious about getting the best mixes possible, these stands are a great starting point. They work much better than foam pads. I know it seems like a lot for such a simple product, but there is a lot of engineering at work here. I don't want to go back mixing without them.

These stands are great. It projects the sound fully and makes sure the bass is extended. Monitor pads are good for keeping the sound more closed in and damping the bass a little. Both have different sounds, for preference, not competition. The iso acoustic stands make the monitors sound like a "open back" headphone with clear tight bass you can feel in your bones. Acoustic foam pads have a slightly smaller soundstage and change the acoustic energy projected. However, pads can dampen the sound of bass, if you need to decrease vibration for audio gear or neighbors.

Wow, I was really blown away and very satisfied with these IsoAcoustics stands. By far a better value than the Auralex monitor foam pads. Very sexy and clean look. My desk is tall and I needed something with the ability to be able to put my monitors at ear level. They have helped with the translation of my mixes, the positioning of the monitors at ear level really do make a difference. Highly recommended.
Sound
My mixes are translating better with these.
Features
The ability to position the isoacoustics however you need for a direct ear level.
Ease of Use

Quality
Sturdy, very well made.

The Wow Factor
Very sexy and clean looking. I can make music without it, it just wouldn't translate well with other speakers.
