Feature:
Effectvely, this is two seperate, high quality pedals. For those wishing to make a crisp, clear solo or a warm lower end crunch, this is a wondreful pedal. Like everything else, though, it has its limitations. If you are looking for something to take you completely over the edge for the heavy metal, grunge or punk sounds, look elsewhere.

Quality:
Withstands punishment well. Very durable. No worries on wear and tear. High quality materials.

Value:
I dig this pedal. It's amazing that it is sold at such a low price, because this is the best pedal for its price!

Desirability:
I'm not a big fan of silver. The lines are simple, and could be made more appealing by rounding edges and making the footswitch and controls more integrated into the body, as opposed to being additions that create a temporary or fragile appearance.

Sound:
This is a very flexible pedal. It creates anything from a mild blues overdrive effect to a solid crunch, all without losing any toneal qualities. For the price, this is the best pedal on the market!

Support:
Ibanez has a well-deserved reputation for good support. I have no experience with them with this particular pedal because it is made so well.

Overall:
I chose this product for its ability to maintain the integrity of its tones even when really crunching or popping solos. It is remarkably flexible in what it can do, and easy to determine what it cannot. If you want to go beyond the crunch that this can produce, then buy something specifically designed for that purpose to supplement this pedal. In concert with other pedals and effects, the range that this unit can produce is unbeatable. On its own, it is one of the best for doing what it is designed for.

Feature:
The push buttons are a nice feature because I tend to screw up the controls by stepping on the wrong one.

Quality:
This thing is a tank. It will last me for years.

Value:
This thing is only $40! It's worth way more.

Desirability:
It's all silver. It looks nice.

Sound:
The sound is nice. I was looking for a little bit heavier sound, but this thing is the best.

Support:
Never spoke with the company. Never had to. Probably never will.

Overall:
This overdrive pedal is really good. I was expecting the sound to be a little bit heavier, but I still use it for stuff like Green Day and Incubus. I like this thing and I encourage you to get it.

I went into the guitar store looking for a tone I couldn't describe. I tried several other pedals, but I knew this was it when I hit the first note. With the new hot switch, this could be used as an overdrive or distortion pedal. BTW, if you're like me and you own enough universal power adapters to not feel the need to buy the recommended Ibanez adapter, you'll need to know that the polarity is negative. Ibanez won't tell you and it took me 1/2 an hour of web-surfing to find it.

If you love the Ibanez TS9, you would probably be happier with the Ibanez TS7. It nails exactly the same tone as the TS9, but with the additional HOT switch, you get beefier and raunchier overdrive. Best of all, it retails significantly less than the TS9. UNBELIEVABLE!

Value:
i would pay a little more, but i can't complain about it. A good choice for this price

Sound:
A very good and different sound. Perfect for clean distortion. Very good for what it has been done. It can also been used as a booster, but it alters a bit the original sound , that's the only thing this thing needed to get a 10

Support:
not a problem at all

Superior tube overdrive for the money. Compares well with any TS pedal in the $70-$150 market. Very reliable during a gig.

zZounds has verified that this customer bought this product from us.
Feature:
I like the Hot circuit, along with the original TS7 circuit also. I like that the knobs push back into the body so that they don't get screwed up when being pounded on.

Quality:
I've always hear the Ibanez is one of the best effects pedals to buy, but I've owned two TS7s in the last two months, and both have broken and don't turn on. I don't know if it's just bad luck on my part or what. I really like the pedal a lot, but I'm very disapointed that both broke after a months use.

Value:
Great value....The reason I bought it.

Desirability:
Looks pretty cool, like the silver.

Sound:
I love the sound...Just like an overdrive pedal should sound like.

Support:
I haven't dealt with the company, just zZounds.com when it broke.

Overall:
If the pedal wouldn't have broken both times, the rating would be a 9 or 10, but that was not the case. I do love the pedal because it looks great and sounds very cool, but if it doesn't hold up, what's the point?

A worthy successor to the now legendary TS9. Improved switching and battery compartment. Gives a nice, warm, tubey overdrive. Retains the organic feel and dynamics of guitar and amp. Just set all knobs on 12 o' clock and go!
