Ibanez SRX500 Electric Bass Guitar

the only bad part about this is that the volume and bass knobs keep falling off. i eventually glued them on and problem solved. i've taken this bass about everywhere and not one dent. very sturdy.
Value:
i was sceptical about this bass because it seemed plain and not worth the money, but when i got it, it was worth every penny.
Desirability:
very sexy, when people see it they say it looks like a black tiger on my bass. very nice design

great sound. amazing pickups, not one problem since buying it.

Overall:
right now i am saving up for an epiphone thunderbird and i think it will also be good, but this bass is good. i think i can use this bass for another few years before i do something stupid with it

"Perfect for Intermediate Players"
This is a brilliant bass for it's price. It is especially suited to those who want to play a range of styles from Rock to Reggae. The controls are easy to master and you can mix them around to create loads of different combinations. When I first bought it it had a little fret buzz but that problem was easily rectified. I think this bass is kinda heavy but it is very well balanced and it won't kill you to play such a nice bass!
The color is great, the sound is great, and overall this is a great bass for those looking to buy a first or second bass (or even higher.)

this bass is about the best bang for the buck. It is designed specifically for rock and roll bassists. It has all of the necessary sound contouring capabilities and the pfr pickups are ibanez's version of the musicman humbuckers. The only drawback are in the "eq"ing (if you are a tone freak or play alot of percussive styles). But once again, this is probably one of the best passive eq basses on the market!!
