Not a bad price for the quality of this guitar. Sounds good on with clean tones and distortion. Good note definition. definitely better than most slightly cheaper 7 strings from competitors.

I have been playing for 35 years. Played just about everything. This is my second Ibanez RG series 7 string. For $500 you get a guitar that is top notch quality, sound and playability. Stable double locking bridge, pickups that sound awesome and ring harmonics and pinch harmonics for days.
Sound
Metal all the way. You want a guitar for writing your own tunes or covering anything from Mötley Crue to Korn and beyond.
Features
The tone knob actually makes a difference in sound on this guitar. Gives some nice options.
Ease of Use
If you can play 6 this axe makes it simple to play 7.
Quality
Top notch.
Value
Worth more than you pay for it.
The Wow Factor
Tuned her up, plugged her in and fired away. Ready to go out of the box.

Musical Style:

Metal, punk, rock, blues, screamo, horror metal, the list goes on. If it's distorted I'm playing it.

This thing is amazing. It plays like butter even with the wider fretboard I have no problems shredding it up. As for the pickups other people say they are quite lousy and lifeless. I believe nothing I hear and only half of what I see. They sound great maybe they still need to learn to play . If your looking for a nice practice guitar you'll hit the jackpot with this little firecracker

Musical Background:

casual player for 17 years

Musical Style:

Hair Metal, Classical, Nu Metal sometimes
