Feature:
I was a little unsure about the tremolo system as I have read that many other owners have either hated it or loved it. I still have a little trouble with it staying in tune, but the fine tuners do an excellent job of putting it right back in tune. So far the lock nut has not given me not even the least bit of trouble. The volume and tone knobs move with the precision of a much more exspensive instrument. The pick up selector switch also seems to be of high quality.

Quality:
Except for some rough edges around the holes where the body bolts to the neck, my guitar came out of the box pretty much flawless. The paint is perfect and the inlays on the neck are done very nicely. Fit and finish is of a standard not usually found on guitars in this price range.

Value:
I was very close to buying a jackson JS 20 that was a litte less exspensive. (It's a shame what fender has done to the the Jackson name) Hearing both guitars through the same amp sealed the deal. The Ibanez is just a much better instrument, hands down.

Desirability:
Yes this guitar will get you noticed. It does look like a "jem". The white paint and black contrasting hardware is pure eye candy.

Sound:
I have owned 5 other guitars and this by far is the best sounding guitar I have owned, bar none. Nice clear distortion with a lot of balls. The neck pick up through no distortion is simply amazing.

Support:
So far I've had no problems that require any customer support. The dealer where I bought it set it up perfectly to my playing style.

Overall:
For the money, it's hard to beat this guitar. I looked at guitars in the 3 to 5 hundred dollar range for about 6 months before I bought this Ibanez. It seems that there are unlimited choices for that kind of money, but bang for the buck, you would be hard pressed to find a better guitar for the money. No, it's not an American Gibson, or Fender Strat, but it's also about 5 times less exspensive. If, like me, you want a great (not perfect) guitar and are on a budget (wife, kids, house, car, etc.) this is a great choice.

Feature:
It is solid with features. It would be nice to have a coil splitting option to one of the humbuckers, but the single coil takes care of that.

Quality:
Well made with solid fret job and great workmanship. Right from the store with no finish flaws or fret miscues.

Value:
Worth every penny. Great price for this quality.

Sound:
The infinity pickups offer a solid sound. Good tone and good variations of sound on the combinations, switch selector on positions 2 or 4. The only difference between the two humbuckers is that one has more treble than the other - it's brighter. Great blues and rock sounds, including metal if needed. Good response to picking.

Ease of Use:
Plug and play.

Support:

Overall:
Solid guitar for rock, metal, blues or instrumental (Vai, Satriani, Petrucci, etc.)

zZounds has verified that this customer bought this product from us.
Feature:
The guitar came with all the wrenches necessary to adjust the Floyd Rose trem and the locking nut. It features a "strat-like" body and an unbelievably thin Wizard II neck and an Edge III bridge with a nice tremolo arm that snaps in instead of screwing in. The guitar stays in tune for a VERY long time, despite a lot of bend on the whammy bar.

Quality:
There are absolutely no flaws in the manufacturing of this product!

Value:
For $400 this is a STEAL!!!!

Desirability:
Just looka at it! The pictures don't even do justice. Go to a store and hold it, play it, you'll see how appealing it is.

Sound:
DO NOT CHANGE THE PICKUPS!!! I can't stress this enough. This guitar sounds absolutely amazing. I am well known for swapping out pickups, but in this case it is entirely unnecessary. Ibanez has engineered these pickups and their sonic value in conjuntion with the basswood body and overall density of this build. The sound through a nice distortion pedal gives me a sound I have searched for for a very long time. The sound in a clean channel is also very sweet on all accounts. I want to reiterate again: KEEP THE STOCK PICKUPS! Too many of us get hung up on the idea that stock pickups are not good and that we need to run out and get Duncans or Dimarzios to make things right. That is a fallacy brought on by clever marketing and stubborn thinking. It's an illusion that will compromise the sound of this guitar and make you waste money.

Ease of Use:
The tin neck and overall sculpting of the body make it so easy to play. The neck in particular is a real work of art and just feels naturally easy to play.

Support:
No need for support yet.

Overall:
This is my top axe right now. I have a Les Paul, and Ibanez RG570 and tree Fender Stratocasters. I value this guitar right up there with my American Stratocaster which costs twice as much as this wonderful instrument.

Feature:
im used the 4 knobs on my SG look-alike and i guess the 1 volume and tone on this one kinda made me feel weird, i liked the sound i got, but it wasnt perfect for me, im sure if i bought it and messed with it for a day or two i'd love it even more. And the whammy is kinda weird, it doesnt screw in, it kinda just pokes in there. Not much of a problem for me cause im not very crazy with my tremolo anyways..

Quality:
well i dont own it, iv only played it, but surprisingly the shop owner let me borrow a strap for a bit and i liked it alot, nice weight to it, not too heavy. I loved the finish white with black hardware is just really nice to me. I dread my black finish choices on my other guitars because i realized how easy it is to see finger prints ect. I loved it

Value:
I think its very worth it, $400 for this guitar is extremely reasonable you can get such a good sound out of it for such a low price. (compared to a $1000+ gibson or $900 Strat)

Desirability:
i love the look of this guitar its so so nice. black and white, great color combination for this guitar.

Sound:
first of all i havnt been playing for very long, maybe 8-9 months, but iv owned a Fender squire and a SG copy JayTurser, and i like those two on my Cube 20x amp. But out of boredom I went to my local guitar shop, saw this guitar, and had to play it. I plugged it into a Cube 30X and i was just amazed, i play rock mostly stuff like black sabbath and such, and i just love the distortion i got out of it, bridge is awesome for solo's in my opinion and the neck humbucker is pretty good for rhythm. I turned on the acoustic simulator on the amp, with the neck pick up on, and i could have sworn i was playing an acoustic! couldnt tell the difference

Ease of Use:
very very nice neck, flat, and the well spaced strings. very easy to play, chording and lead is so so very easy and comfortable on this guitar, body is comfortable. really nice

Support:
I just played it at the shop.

Overall:
this guitar is soo cool, i love the awesome rhythm sounds you can get out of it (i play rhythm) and for my measly fills I can get a nice lead tone out of the bridge humbucker, i loved it. the thing i liked least about it was the whammy bar, its not that big of a deal, but it kinda popped out once or twice while i was messing with it. im sure if you dont go insane with it, its alright.

Feature:
The guitar comes with all the standard stuff: the manual (in about 10 different languages), a solid cable, and a set of hex keys for any maintenance you might need to do. There wasn't anything too special... although I really loved the tag they affixed to the neck that showed the signatures of everybody at the factory that inspected the guitar itself- that's pretty cool when you see it.

Quality:
The guitar seems just as durable as any other guitar. All the parts are solidly attached and it doesn't look a day older than when I got it 6 months ago.

Desirability:
The RG models all look really good, but the 350DX really stands out in my opinion. My favorite color is black, but I decided to choose the DX instead of the MDX because the white, brushed pick guard looks just awesome on the white body with black hardware. It truly looks incredible. Somebody actually told me today that it looks like one of the older JEM models but better, because it doesn't have the monkey grip. Never has a white guitar fit in so well with the black metal it was meant to play.

Sound:
This guitar has an excellent sound. It plays cleans well, but everybody knows it's meant for metal, and that's where it really shines. No complaints here whatsoever.

Ease of Use:
It's very playable. The Wizard neck is bloody fast, to the point you'll wonder how you ever played those 5-string sweeps without it before.

zZounds has verified that this customer bought this product from us.
Feature:
Came with a cable to get you going fast. The Edge Pro system which got its patent off the Floyd Rose is pretty good if you like Floyd Rose Tremolos. If you don't like tuning your guitar ever so often after bending those strings or using the whammy bar, then you should consider getting yourself a Fender Tremsetter to stabalize the back springs of the tremolo and never have to worry about those kinds of things. Other then that, it has everything you need to play hard rock.

Quality:
Nice guitar finish. Came covered in plastic to protect everything the moment it comes out of the box. Stock strings aren't all that though. The 6th string E was very flimsy and rattled a lot when you stroke it. But some people may prefer loose strings. So I give it a 9.

Value:
For a guitar that looks really expensive, it's not. It's got an ok tremolo system that needs a stabalizer, it wouldn't hurt to get better pickups, it's stock strings aren't that all great, but fixing everything that keeps this guitar from being near perfect is A LOT cheaper then just buying a 1000+ Dollar guitar. Great Value.

Desirability:
I've looked all over the web before buying an electric and every time I always went back to this one. Therefore... I wanted it and got it.

Sound:
I'm not very picky with the way this guitar sounds but it does have a really good overdrive when you turn the knob to the max. It probably could be better if u replace the pickups with better ones, but as I said, I'm not that picky so its all good.

Support:
It has a 1 year insurance plan. That's good enough. Never had a problem with the guitar yet so it doesn't really bother me. The Ibanez website is pretty hard to navigate compared to other sites.

Overall:
Great Guitar. Not recommended for guitarists who do not like customizing thier own guitars. I highly recommend anyone who's looking forward to getting this guitar to be prepared to BUY A TREMSETTER for its Edge Pro II system. its like 30-40 bux and its well worth it. Once its in you're pretty much done. You've got yourself a great guitar with really good quality for its price. If you don't like customizing and screwing around with your guitar then maybe this guitar isn't for you, but if you wanna save money you really should consider to.

Feature:
One of the main reasons i got this gutar is because of its floyd rose trem and locking nut - both of which are excellent. The volume and tone knobs also feel very solid and the pickup selector is stable and seamless. No complaints here.

Quality:
Everything about this guitar feels exceptionally well made. I was a little hesitant about the floyd rose but it does exactly what it should, and does it very well.

Value:
For such a low price, this guitar is a steal. Floyd rose trem, awesome neck, oh-so-sexy looks, and nice tone for very little.

Desirability:
Oh this is the sexiest guitar out there.

Sound:
When i bought this guitar had read that the stock pickups were not the greatest, so was already planning on replacing them. When i got the guitar, however, i was quite surprised by the quality and fullness of the sound. The sinlge coil does tend to be a bit noisy, but the two humbuckers, especially the one in the bridge position, more than get the job done. This baby has great crunch, and is wonderful for soloing, with a high end that tears right through the distortion. While not the best by far, the sound of this guitar is quite good, and should be just fine for anyone to jam and gig with.

Support:
No need for support.

Overall:
I would recommend this guitar to everyone who is looking for a nice shredder with all the bells and whistles, but still at a bargain price.

Feature:
The RG came with the basic stuff, manual some extra parts, some tools and a cable, its basicallywhat you need to maintain it.

Quality:
Well this being my first electric, as far as i can tell the guitar is made pretty tight, i bought this guitar from this site as a blemish guitar, when i got it, i cant seem to find anything wrong lol looks great! nice color, cool shark tooth inlay, just a beautiful instrument.

Value:
I think at this price, this RG model is well worth it, its a nice beautiful sounding guitar, well worth it.

Desirability:
The guitar just looks awesome! looks way better in person, WAAAAAAAAY BETTER!!! real classy look and design, everything accents each other.

Sound:
This RG model sounds great, has nice crisp clean tones by itself, and sounds great with effects.

Ease of Use:
This guitar is very easy to use, i listen to alot of metal and real heavy into Mr. Vai, found that you could easily come close to the same sound as him with the right effect pedals(Bad Hosie wah, Ds-1, digitech Wh-1 whammy) its actually pretty cool lol.

Support:
Havent had any problems just yet.

Overall:
I think for now since this is my first electric(played accoustic for a while now) i will stick with it and learn what i can until my means exceed the limits of this particular guitar, if that is possible lol , i mean Steve Vai does radical stuff lol.

all i play is Ibanez and why pay 800 - 900 dollars for a prestige when you can have something half the price including a new pickup and i learned this because i bought a rg1570 and i really dont see the 400 dollar more difference

Feature:
The Volume and Tone knob move with such precision it's sick. Also the pick-up selecter moves very well also.

Quality:
Mine came out of the box perfect. Great white finish, and the shark-tooth inlays are pretty neat.

Value:
This guitar is so well worth 400$. Fender Stratocasters are my favorite guitars, I have 9 of them, but Ibanez could possibly change that.

Desirability:
SEXY WHITE. It is a beautiful guitar. The white finish, black hard-ware and the shark-tooth inlays make this sexy and wonderful.

Sound:
Man what a sound. If you are a big Vai, or Satriani fan, this guitar will do you miracles. Also if you know how to doing locking trems.

Ease of Use:
If you use a strat or any guitar that has more of "C" neck, it will take a while to get used to it. The neck feels like a slimmer "D" neck shape. Made for putting your thumb on the back of the neck, and just shredding like a mad man.

Support:
Haven't needed to call yet.

Overall:
I expect to be satisfied with this guitar to come. If it is between this guitar and another one, or other couple for this price range, pick this. Great Sound, Great Quality, Great Look, and an Excellent guitar. Buy it!!!
