Quality:
Absolutely remarkable finish. I have owned a lot of guitars in 48 years of playing includes Gibsons, Gretschs and Guilds. This is finished better than any of them. I have paid over $3,000.00 for guitars not as well made as this.

Value:
This guitar is worth way more than the price Ibanez asks for it.

Desirability:
NOt only does this guitar make you sound good. It makes you look good on stage. The appearance is so phenomenal that you look like a top-notch pro in the eyes of the audience. Only someone with a lot of clout gets to play something this nice.

Sound:
This instrument has a great tone. It is the first guitar I have ever played that I like the sound of the bridge pickup. All the others sounded too tinny to my ear. This one has just the right amount of spank while still retaining the hollowbody tone.

Ease of Use:
A hollowbody is always harder to play than a solid. If you use too light a string set you lose the tone of the body. I would prefer the pickup switch on the top bout but that is a minor thing. It is great to play.

Support:
I have never had to use support on any Ibanez product yet. So I rate that high.

Overall:
I had thought that I might buy another Gretsch Tennessee Rose in a year or two. Now that I own the AK86 I don't see why I would need to.

Feature:
This guitar has a great three piece neck. Very well set up. Frets are beautifully finished. The body is flamed maple plywood on the sides and back. The top is spruce (plywood probably, I haven't checked). The matching spruce pickguard is a very attractive bonus. The tailpiece has very nice rosewood insert with abalone and mother of pear inlay. The tuning machines are chrome and of very high quality ( I don't see lousy tuning machines anymore these days)

Quality:
Impressive finish. Probably some sort of uv curing polymer. I build guitars and I couldn't build one with this fit and finish for the price I paid for this guitar.I have a lawsuit les Paul made in the 70's by Ibanez which looks and plays as well as it did when I bought it new so I imagine this guitar will last as long.

Value:
Dirt f***ing cheap.

Desirability:
Very hot looking. I have a thing for guitars which highlight the materials used to construct them and this one hits all the right buttons.

Sound:
I am a hobby player(30 plus years). as an acoustic guitar it is a bit lacking in tone and volume but why would anyone play it acoustically anyway? I have read complaints about the pups and I have to say I think they are fine. Just need to put on some flat wounds and you get a nice warm jazz tone out of them. No problem with feed back at reasonable volume settings. I play it through a 57 Champ and I love it.

Ease of Use:
after setting the action this guitar plays beautifully.

Support:
never had to deal with Ibanez re: their stuff.

Overall:
I was so happy with it I went out and bought an AF105F which is the Ibanez custom shop jazz box (which is an awsome guitar as well).

A beautifully crafted instrument.

An exceptional value!

Sound:
The sound quality and expressiveness of this instrument rivals that of much higher priced instruments.
