Excellent instrument! The guitar looks great and plays even better - an amazing feat, considering the very affordable price. Kudos (a million of them) to Ibanez for keeping great sounding, professional level instruments affordable for full-time musicians of today. The guitar sounds perfectly balanced and chords come out clear and open. Single note solos are well defined with a nice attack and smooth sustain. The tone is full, warm with a clear bottom end and sweet high end. Sounds great even at the highest fret position. If you are looking for a Jazz guitar without the cost associated with a Gibson 175 ES or L-5 CES this instrument will bring you the tone any professional would be happy with - the rest is up to you :)

This instrument will shock you. I have been looking for a quality archtop that isn't prohibitively expensive. This one sounds great-acoustically and through different amps, tube (PRRI) and solid-state (FM25), and also looks beautiful, very comfortable 15 3/4 in at lower bout. I can tell you this is better than any Gibson non-custom shop I've seen in a long time. No flaws anywhere in finish, neck, frets, or pickup. Great guitar. A single pickup guitar doesn't have many features, per se, this is for playing jazz style, and in that it does so incredibly well.

The finish is truly breathtaking, matted colors, muted tones. its light in weight and easy to play. I LOVE THIS INSTRUMENT, has the sound of an amplified acoustic more than that of a solid body or even the other artcores. its a medium thickness. between their AS and AG lines. it came with flatwound strings, nice ones! the tones from it are sweet. I will enjoy doing videos and recordings with this!
