Sound: Man, this piece of equipment is amazing. When I walked into the music store i was looking for a solid electric guitar (had just bought a new amp). Anywayz, I looked around a bit, when this baby caught my eye. I picked up other guitars and plucked on them for a bit (all acoustics, mainly fender and some other brands). They all sounded plain and the same the only difference was the price. But when i picked this one up, on the first note i played i could tell a great difference. It sounded..well..good (real good). So, even after coming for an electric, the sound of this guitar was so great, i bought it on the spot. Best decision I've ever made. Feature: I don't know, I just know that a guitar that sounds this good has to have some good features on it. One thing i noticed (on all of them, so it can't be a defect) is that the back is bowed out a bit. It may be part of the sound characteristics...who knows. Quality: The paint job is awesome. I personally got the marine sunburst. Very good. I came in the store and had hardly ever heard of ibanez, let alone ever think about buying one, i was looking at the gibsons, but now, these are the only guitars i play. Value: You won't be disappointed. (Unless maybe you go out and buy a $7000 PRS) The Wow Factor: Bought it on the spot it sounded so good. Overall: The other day i plugged it up into a soundboard and did a little recording. Oh my gosh... it sounded so sweet. Just like some of the real expensive guitars on the radio sound. It's so tight, never going back on ibanez now, not giving this guitar up for anything!!

Sound: Very nice sound. Well worth it. Sounds full and rich. Feature: Don't know too much about the parts of a guitar, but on the looks of this guitar, I give it a 10. Quality: Quality guitar. Made very well. Can definitely take on the road. Perfect for jam sessions with friends. Value: Of course. Manufacturer Support: The best part about this, I haven't had to. The Wow Factor: Whoo! That Violet Sunburst is one heck of a beauty. Overall: This is my first guitar, and I am very happy about this purchase. Some of you may not want to splurge this much on a first but, I was happy with it. I know this baby will be carried on with me for year and years to come.

Sound: I give this area a 9 because I can't ever be happy with the sound of a preamp. Not particularly in thas one but most in general. With that said the other 9 points are all amazing! Who doesn't pick up the $3,000 Martins and Taylors and play them. Every time I do and come home to my Ibanez, I never feel like I'm missing out on anything. This is by far one of the best sounding acoustics I've ever heard, and I'm a seasoned sound engineer. Feature: Can you say built in XLR? How about both strap buttons? Or built in tuner? Ease of Use: It has easy funcions and easy battery compartment. If you can't use a guitar why are you reading this? Quality: My only complaint would be the slightly wavy top. It bothered me for a little while, but it sounds and plays so nice that I don't even think about it anymore. Manufacturer Support: Ibanez had always been helpful and provides great online support The Wow Factor: This guitar is beautiful. All of my friend's with thier $2,000+ acoustics keep commenting on how good this one looks. Overall: It plays alot like an electric, looks 5 times its price, and sounds amazing. I have 2 Ibanez electrics, an Ibanez bass and now the perfect acoustic. It is well worth even paying full retail for.

Sound: The sound is decent. It just sounds really new. With the maple construction chances are this guitar will age nicely. Although it sounds awesome plugged into a PA. Feature: Very pretty guitar with the gold tuners, fret inlays, etc. There was only one strap button, and when I added one to the heel it tended to dive toward the fretboard. So I went back to tying off on the head of the guitar. The guitar could also have a tuner built-in. But maybe they put that money towards the preamp, which sounds real nice BTW. Quality: The guitar came with an exceptionally high action. I had to spend another $35 bucks to have a local shop tweak the action. Now it plays wonderfully. I love it. I get comments on it all the time - how pretty it is. Value: For the money you could not get a better sounding, and prettier guitar. Manufacturer Support: Never dealt with support. The Wow Factor: I always get comments on how pretty the guitar is. Overall: I plan on keeping this until I can afford a Martin or Taylor.

Sound: Sound is good. It has a great full sound for it's size and price. Plugged in is pretty much phenominal. The Fishman pickup is awesome. Feature: The inlays are beautiful. The sunburst just doesn't jump out in a picture like it does when you see it in person. It stands out and holds its own! The 1/4 inch jack and the mic jack are great! Quality: It dares you to find a flaw. It is gorgeous and easy on the eyes. The only drawback is the gold hardware...it looks good, but gold seems to wear due to humidity over time. However, with the color of the inlays and the guitar, it would look great with silver hardware also. Either way, it is a small detail in the large picture. Value: A+. I was going to spend more money on the Ibanez aw500ce, but when I saw this one, my mind was made up. I saved a couple of hundred dollars and am just as satisfied (even more!) with what I got. Overall: You won't be disappointed...unless you don't get it! I pick up mine today and am so excited.
