Sound: I own a Flying V with Duncan Distortion pickups and a Peavey Audition (small practice amp). It has a great pre-amp sound but switching between clean and overdrive was a pain. I was jamming in a local music shop enjoying a full selection of badass amps that were at my disposal, the rep from Hughes and Kettner showed up while I was playing and asked me if I had ever tried the Warp Factor pedal. I told him no, and he hooked it up. I was impressed, so much so that I bought the unit right then. When I took it home and ran it through my Peavey I was even more impressed. This unit has a great sound. It’s a must for the metal rocker. Two thumbs up!!! Feature: It only comes with an AC power unit, battery back-up would be nice. Ease of Use: The features are simple to use. Quality: Very well made, flat and sturdy. Value: It is not as pricey as some other units but it sure does deliver the sound. Manufacturer Support: Never needed it The Wow Factor: It has a futuristic look, my Stargate friends wondered when it would send us through the wormhole! LOL Overall: As a musician ONE product will NEVER meet my needs, (one can never have too many toys. This is however a great unit, and if it were broke or stolen I would most likely buy a new one.

Sound: sound is kick ass. if you like the heavy stuff...this is for you. incredible sound quality especially if you kick the warp up. With it down it sounds muffly. up it sounds crisp and clear. for an experienced guitarist, the high ended distortion is the key. This has got it. this petal has studio quality sound with the right guitar pickups. i have a bc rich warlock with bdsm pickups. nice. id kick the warp up to about a 3 oclock setting gives it a crisp clean sound with a little juice. especially when u hit the bass booster button. heavy stuff. Feature: not much features besides the gain, warp, volume, and the bass booster which is great for heavy guitaring. one problem of the warp factor is the stomp eventually gets warn out and takes a few tries to stomp it on. plus its flat and wide so it wont tip over when u go to stomp as with the square petals. Quality: like i said the stomp wears out a little bit. everything else is great. dont spill anything on it of course. ive had if for about a year constant use no stopping. great sound. nothing slowly breaking besides the stomp. easy to fix. Value: i got it for 100 its now 50 or lower. great price. other petals are 30 dollars but crap. this is killer for distortion. Manufacturer Support: never needed to call. The Wow Factor: sleek look. simple but awsome. Overall: buy this please. you wont regret it.

Sound: Let's get this one out the way first. This pedal sure as hell isn't just for "Nu-metal" (what the hell is that anyway?)... I play slow heavy blues-rock and was looking for something to really fuzz up my amps. Dear god, nothing comes CLOSE to the H+K Warp factor. This pedal works for any style so long as it involves being fuzzed-out-to-all-frig. Feature: Gotta love the sub-switch. Also, this thing ain't gonna break anytime soon. You could kill someone with it. Ease of Use: Couldn't be easier... Gain, Warp, Level and sub-switch. Crank all of them up till you get desired noise. Easy. Quality: Solid lump of metal. Value: Worth ever penny... but anything over the stated price is taking the piss. Manufacturer Support: Never needed support... and it takes one hell of a beating day in day out. The Wow Factor: Looks as mighty as it sounds. Overall: Damn I love this pedal. All I need is massive amounts of distortion to rip off old Jethro Tull numbers... this serves the purpose (and then some).
