after playing about ten cabs twice as much i kept coming back to this one but the store by me was selling it for over $300 then doing a search i found it here. ordered it as soon as i had enough cause i was sick of playing it in the store
Sound
I just got it from this site and paid 199.95 + shipping so $211.95!!! For that amount i got sooo much boom for my buck. I connected it to my hartke 3000 and ran it with my vx410 and OMG beauty in music. i sounds awesome on its own too. i have almost all frequencies at all decibels coveted now. the 2 8" drivers handle the mid highs awesome and the 15" throws that low B in my face. the horn sends every high note clean and clear. its unbeatalbe for the price

iexpect to be satisfied for a long time. because it is my first cabinet i will be able to add on as i need.
Sound
the amp is very reponsive to different frequencies. The tone/sound is consitent throught the range of the bass. tthe anp has a warn clean sound. It is very articulate and responds well to any style of playing. I use my cabinet for when i play upright for Jazz, and electric for Funk, Rock, and Ska.
Features
The different sized cones respond well to the different frequencies, the crossovers are tuned in well. The Tweeter is great for slapping and poping.
Ease of Use
I and able to get a great sound, regardless of what style i'm playing.
Quality
First of all the amp looks great. everything about it is heavy duty, the corner pieces, the carpet the steel grate, and the sealed plywood cabinet make this a great buy. The handels on the side are great for trans porting it . overal the amp isn't really heavy.
Value
all this for only $199.99!!!!! of course
The Wow Factor
Hartke is sweet!!!!

"The 1508 rocks it out!!"
I'm planning on keeping this cab for quite a while. I've been happy with it's performance and durability. I don't think there will be any issues for a long time, but I do take care of my equipment very well.
Sound
I love this Cab, it does push out the lows and the highs equally well. If you're a slap and pop player, you'll love the high end response from this cab. I use a 4 string bass and regularly kick on the octave pedal and it will go down to G before it can't handle the low tones, that's a major 3rd below the 5 string B. I can't complain about the sounds of this thing at all.
Features
I would recommend adding castors to the cab, but it is so freaking light for it's size that hauling it around isn't so bad without them. It seems built pretty well, the handles are comfortable to use. None of the speakers rattle even at high volume levels.
Quality
This thing is built like a tank. Seems like it should last a long time with proper care. I've been gigging with it weekly for the last 4 months and it still looks brand new and hasn't given me a second's problem. The metal grill and corner covers are very protective.
Value
This cab is worth a lot more than $199 in my opinion but I'm glad I didn't have to pay more. I love it and it sounds great.
Manufacturer Support
I don't know, I haven't used them so far.
The Wow Factor
One of the coolest looking cabs I've seen. I always get comments when I roll it into the venue. It's big and different looking without being too crazy. I like that I don't have a 4x10 like everyone else and my sound stands out too, for the better.

"Hartke vx1508"
I am still on the fence with this cabnet....
for the price it's good, but I am still considering taking it back and spending the extra money for a (4 10") cabnet.
Sound
I am using this with a hartke 3500 head and a Schecter elite 5 string bass.... I play mostly classic rock and Funk.
For the price this Cabnet is good
I found the Tweeter to just plain Suck (it is very harsh sounding unmusical) I disconnected it.
and the 15" can be a bit Boomy
All in all if you take the time to EQ right it sound OK.
Features
it has 15" and 2 8" on a slant plus the Tweeter horn
I wish it had some type of controll for the tweeter or at least a on/off switch (I just disconnected mine)
since it's covers the lows and highs it seems likely that people would use this as a single cabnet soultion so it would be nice if it came in 4ohms.
Ease of Use
it's a cabnet...
you plug it in it works....
any EQ'ing is done from your guitar or amp.
Quality
Seems pretty tough...
I put casters on mine. it's a bit heavy (no more then other bass cabnets though)
Value
Bang for the Buck is where this thing Shines....
for under $200 you can beat it.
Manufacturer Support
I have called and got an actual person on the phone, they were helpful.
The Wow Factor
it's good looking cabnet....
plus it's different then what most people have (4 10")

"Not bad but could be better."
I think this is a good cab but a bit over priced by about $50. It sounds good but it's 8ohms so my head was only 120 watts through it.
Sound
It sounds good with the right head, does not match well with Hartke 2000. Will need another cab if you plan to use that head.
Features
This cab should have it all in one cab, a 15 for the lows, 2 - 8's for the mid, and a horn for the highs. But i don't think this cab splits them up very well.
Quality
It seems built well, Just needs wheels, aluminum cone version, good crossover, and a 4ohm version.
Value
I'm starting to think i should have just got a 4x10 cab instead. I may take it back and exchange it for a 4ohm cab. Paid $339.99 for it.
Manufacturer Support
I don't know haven't had to call them. But i think documentation online is limited.
The Wow Factor
This cab looks awsome, I wanted it the minuite I saw it on the showroom floor. If it were 4ohms I'd be a happy camper.

"It's a beginners cabinet"
It's a junker. This cabinet is soley for beginners.
Sound
For the first week of use this cabinet performed quite well. It sounded full, beefy, and yet many of the higher pitches could heard with complete clarity. I would advise not to use this product for recording, more for personal play. This cabinet alone is obviously not powerful enough for any real gigs. I used the Fender MB1200 Amp which helped me achieve any sound with this cabinet.
Features
Sure, there is some range with this cabinet. However many of the features can only be achieved with a more pricey and versitile amp.
Ease of Use
It's a cabinet, if someone actually thinks this is hard to use they should go acoustic. Two plugs, that's it.
Quality
Awful... After that one week of fun, it went down hill, both of the 8 in. proprietary drivers died. After it was fixed, I felt like I couldn't depend on it again.
Value
If I was someone looking for a high performance speaker, I would look elsewhere. If I was someone just starting to play bass, I would totally get this cabinet. It's cheap and it is able to be overheard around live drums.
Manufacturer Support
I sent cabinet in right after the proprietary drivers busted, and was told that I would get it back one week later. Well... one week turned in to two weeks.. two weeks turned in to three. I was infuriated. Then I got a call that the company finally found replacement speakers, but these speakers wouldn't come for another three weeks. So the repair job became a six week deprivation my only easily accessible amp.
The Wow Factor
This like a tweeter compared to the good stuff. You're going to be very lonely if you think this cabinet is going to get you chicks.
