I expect this thing to give me many years of joy. Its comfortable and brings out the natural sound of my bass. If you want more tone control, hartke also makes a fantastic DI preamp that could give you more options. Build your tone around your bass. If this were stolen, id order another one in a heartbeat. the sound is great, its quality stuff and the price is just right.
Sound
Bought this based on my past Hartke experience. The Head ( LH500, it sells individually as well and has been around for a while ) is great. Three band EQ, limiter and a bright switch. Ooh yeah, and a master volume. Really simple layout and very easy to get a good sound. If youre thinking about buying this, know you will NEED something else to push. The 210's IMHO are not enough. They sell this same setup in a 410. I opted for a 115. I bought this with the intentions of another cab. Nothing is sweeter than 210's accompanying 115. OOH AND THIS THIS IS LOUD!!!
Features
Less IS more. Believe me. You could spend hours and hours trying to find something on an 8 band, and it would probably be great. But, for live situations, nothing is better than this simplicity. No bells, no whistles and that is why i love this so much.
Ease of Use
Dont need to repeat myself.
Quality
This is my only setup and im comfortable with that.
Value
Could always be cheaper, but i would buy 6 of these before id buy one Ampeg. You are buying quality over a name brand.
The Wow Factor
No fancy lights, no glowing tubes, but once again, keep it simple. Looks aren't important to me too much, dark stages and all.
