Feature:
quick to setup and rugged
Quality:
they could have done better on the front grill. the corners are
not secured well but that doesnt affect anything but looks. I bought this because of the way it sounds not for looks.
Value:
better than any thing in its price category BY FAR
Desirability:
ITS A CAB, for pete's sake! it looks like a cab. I bought it.
enough said.
Sound:
UBELIEVEABLE ! I got the 4200 cab with the 4000 head. This rig has most definately exceeded my expecttations. I have been using a peavy centurion (130 watts) and a 2x15. We play in an auditorium that seats about 1100 people. Every week, I was told "you are getting lost in the mix". I got the HA4000 with 4200...one word, AWSOME. I only had to turn up to "2" and there was plenty of bass. I was very impressed with the amount of PUNCH and also the the amount tone controll was remarkable. I never could figure out how some bass players get that "gliss" on the way up.... with the setup I have now slides sound great (up or down). I am finally able to get that slap sound that has eluded me for a long time too. Our drums, guitar and bass stand on a riser and we can actually FEEL the bass with our feet! The only reason I give it an 8 it because in my opinion, I will need to add the 1800 cab soon to finish rounding out the sound on the low end. Other than that, this is positively the most bang for your buck. plenty of headroom.
Support:
they are not in a hurry to answer emails but the emails I sent
were not of warranty issues, just information inquires. the person responding had helpfull replies and seemed to be knowledgable.
Overall:
overall the best for what I needed and by far the best in its price category. I cannot immagine anything else comparable, other than the fact that I will get a 1800 (1x18) cab to go with it, I cannot forsee replacing it.
