It is only 5 watts...and it's small...hard to believe exactly HOW small this thing is. BUT - the tone is sweet. I put it straight through an Eden D112XLTN 8 ohm cab and played my 1998 Fender P Bass trough it, and I was fairly impressed. I'm not really sure how favorably it stacks up to the SVT as it claims, but it still sounded pretty darn good. Obviously, at only 5 watts, it's not going to keep up with a hard-rocking band either live or in rehearsal, but for low-volume jams, acoustic applications, back-stage warm ups, travel rig, learning new material or recording it may just be a useful tool. I plan to put it to use in my studio although I have not yet tried the line/headphone out function yet; I can see it replacing the rack preamp I currently use for recording. Overall, no big bang - just the quiet assumption of its place in my stable as a slick and useful little gizmo.
