Feature:
There are three kinds of inputs (RCA, balanced 1/4" and unbalanced 1/4" and two kinds of outputs (1/4" and barrier strip), but an amp with this level of sound quality needs 5-way, gold-plated, speaker binding posts. LED clipping indicators are a nice touch, especially on a fairly low-powered amp like the TA1600.
Quality:
The amp appears very well made WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE SUPER-CHEAP LOOKING, PLASTIC, INPUT GAIN CONTROLS. Totally crap.
Value:
For $149, this amp is steal.
Sound:
Quiet, clean and tight. The higher-than-normal damping factor gives a tighter bass than you would expect. While the sound is super clean and fast, it's also a little sterile.
Like many solid-state amps, I believe that it started sounding a better after about 25 hours or so. The edges softened just enough to improve the sound.
Ease of Use:
All power amps are easy. This is not a distinquising feature.
