I purchased the Gretsch G2165 Padded Lap Steel Gig Bag for a lap steel I made for my own use. The bag protects my LS from bangs and bumps during transport or when in the closet. The quality is good and I would recommend it.

I ordered this gig bag for a lap steel guitar I designed and build that was roughlybased on the Gretsch lap steel guitar shape. The gig bag came and it fit perfect.The quality of the gig back was very good. I only wish it has a compartment insideto store picks and slides. I will order another.

Poor construction. There is no reinforcement on any of the handles, and the rings connecting the straps to the bag are made of cheap plastic, not metal. The inside is very nice, but the shoulder strap rings broke after about two weeks.
