Sound
Very intuitive drum machine and really cool. The dynamics controls and layout are very good. Thousands of sounds and you can import your own.
Features
Well done. Try the demo yourself but remember the real version has thousands of sounds.
Quality
software!
Value
You can't beat this software for 50 bucks. It's really amazing - people dog it but they must not have explored it or they would rate it extremely high as well.

"The $50 M.P.C. 2000"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
The only way I'd ever part with Idrum would be if there was a newer version or an upgrade. No other computer drum sequencer compares to Idrum. Idrum has only expanded my musical ideas and abilities. I would never part with it. If it was stolen I would by another copy of it. I love this product that much
Sound
Because the program is only for mac users, iDrum is automatically in a league all it's own. The quality of snare, kick, and hat samples cannot be compared to any other computer beat making programs. The sound quality sounds proffessional. From the second I opened the box I became instantly hooked and fell in love with it's endless possibilities. I'm not a fan of mouse clicking drum sequencing, instead I record my patterns using my m-audio MIDI. With Idrum you can't lose, and for it's price it's a steal.
Features
It didn't come with any accessories: none were needed for Idrum.
Ease of Use
I had no trouble learning how to use the program. I was familliar with drum sequencing like this before through "Reason 3.0" but these days I run logic pro with Idrum on my spankin' new Imac. I couldn't imagine where my music would be without iDrum.
Quality
Since it is a "mac exclusive" program you know it will be a superior product. Nothing compares to it. There are no problems with quality control
Value
For $50 dollars it is definitely worth it. If you are contemplating spending $1500-$3000 on an m.p.c. than your a sucker. Idrum is loaded with all the same sounds and samples that you would get on an m.p.c. and then some.
Manufacturer Support
No. even though when you register the product to verify ownership of it they give you all the info needed for technical support online. So far I have had no problems with the program.
The Wow Factor
Any musician who uses Macintosh for music should add this product to their library. It's a great addition and for what you can do with it, will only expand your musical horizons.
