7 out of 10Feature:
Yes, it came with a foot control for the reverb and tremolo, but it does not have tremolo..
Quality:
You can't judge a book from the cover..My amp looked great on the outside, but was a mess on the inside..
It broke down in less than 1 year, the repair shop said it was due to poor craftmenship...It was in the shop for well over 8 weeks..
However Gibson did pay for the repairs..I was ask at the time it broke down if I wanted a refund..I said No..I wanted the Gibson amp..I now know that was a mistake...The amp is still not right, and back in the shop...
Value:
No, it's over priced
Desirability:
I think it's a great amp, when it's working at 100%,,,The amp looks very good from that old style of the 60's...
Sound:
I have GA20 Gibson 2006..it's a nice amp...
NO TREMOLO, I hope the new 2007 models get it...
It has speed and depth with tube reverb
Ease of Use:
The amp is easy to learn the controls and what knobs does what and get the best sound
Support:
I used e-mail to contact Gibson...They sent a list of the repair shops for Gibson amps...The nearest to my home was about 75 miles...
The repair shop was a little hard to get on the phone, it was like the techs were always not there or closed.....
Gibson paid 100% for repairs after I complained
Overall:
I can't give it a higher mark than 8..When I first got this amp, I was very well satisfide with it's performence and sounds...
The amp is not working at 100% and I don't know if it ever will again.
I may keep it just to use here at home..but it's useless in the music world now.....I will try Fender amps next time...
