Sound: Well balanced highs and lows with good sustain on all. Bass gives the solid thump Gibson is known for. Square shoulder dreadnaught a sound that comes through clearly but doesn't overpower the singer like a maple b/s might. Feature: The TV is not an accoustic/electric. The Gibson Case is top of the line. Woods, inlays and other material specs available on Gibson website. Note the Gibson True Vintage is a true Hummingbird. The professional series 'hummingbird' is a completely different guitar - and less costly. Ease of Use: Extremely easy to fret. Set up on mine was perfect for me. Playing is a joy words can't do justice to, regardless of your level of proficiency. Quality: Zero issues with quality. Virtually handmade, with the professional musician as the target audience (watch Country Music award shows for proof) Gibson pays close attention to getting it right the first time. Value: Value is the relationship between price and quality. Some feel you pay a little extra for the name when you buy a Gibson. There are less expensive models available. Martin and Taylor make good guitars, but I tend to think they are more 'manufactured' than individually made. Gibson produces far fewer guitars. Manufacturer Support: I have never had the need to contact Gibson on issues with the three Gibson accoustics guitars I've owned over the past 40 years. I've had this 2010 H'bird TV for only a few months. The Wow Factor: Many players feel the Hummingbird is one of the most attractive, without having too much bling, of all accoustics. The Cherry Sunburst finish is beautiful, as is the pickguard and fret inlays. Overall: Whether you bought this guitar to learn on, or were already an accomplished musician - you would have no reason to get rid of it. I know I never will. If I could only have one guitar - this would be it.

Sound: Sound is balanced and responsive to different playing styles. Not as loud as maple b/s guitars; doesn't project as forcefully. More traditional in sound. Designed for what it does - provide a clear, rich tone in performing without p/ups. Feature: Comes with a superb case. Tuners are vintage styled and excellent. Ease of Use: Emminently playable. Comfortable size body. Fretting is a breeze. Quality: Having had the H'bird TV for 5 months now - I can attest that there are zero defects in it. Value: Obviously I believe it is, since it was very expensive, but I spent the money. I have had no "buyer's remorse" - would do it again! Manufacturer Support: Not applicable. I've not had to work with Gibson at all. The Wow Factor: I've read countless comments from folks who believe the Hummingbird is one of the most attractive guitars ever. I agree. Overall: I am certain I will not get tired of the Hummingbird TV, either to replace it or put it in the closet. It has the capacity to keep me challenged as a musician for the rest of my life. If it were lost, I would replace it with the exact same model.
