Feature:
I wish Angus would have used a Bigsby wammy bar. The lyre vibrola does not have a strong enough body to keep the guitar in tune. I find myself having to retune after most songs when it is used.
Quality:
If not for the lyre bar, I would give this a 10
Value:
Value is ok. There are other guitars out there like Fender-Strats or Teles, Guild-all of the solid bodies and the bluesbird, Ibanez-Steve Vie Bad Horsie and the Jackson-SL1 that will stand up to the SG but each having their own unique sound. It all comes down to what you like. The sound and feel of the guitar is as good or bad as the person playing it.
Desirability:
I personally love this design. It looks good and feels good. It is much easier to hold the sg than the Les Paul. To me it just looks clean and simple.
Sound:
Good brights solid lows. Great for rock and roll, and blues.
Ease of Use:
By taking the time setting up your amp (I suggest a tube amp)and playing with the tone levels on this guitar you will find just about any sound you are looking for.
Support:
Have never had to go to the company for anything. I did not bother about the lyre bar because every musician that I know that has had or used one says they all have that problem. REMEDY---don't use the bar.
Overall:
I have several guitars and this guitar is among my favorites. When working, I usually have more than one guitar on the stage.
