The picture does not do this guitar justice. When I opened the case I felt it was a piece of art work and like the other person commenting, I was hesitant to pull it out of the case. Once I gained the nerve to play the instrument it voiced beautifully. One of those that you just don't want to put down. It did need a set-up to my liking and the stock strings didn't last too long (I did play it a lot though). Nice case to compliment the guitar along with some strings and a few other goodies. It's nice to know I own something they only made 75 of and it's a good investment financially and musically.

They made 75. I'm so happy that I managed to get one of them! The craftsmanship is everything that you would expect from the Gibson custom shop. The finish is absolutely beautiful! The action is smooth and consistent throughout the entire fretboard. When it arrived the first thing I did was check the intonation. Not one click off from an open string to the 12th fret on every string. If your strobe tuner registers perfect D on the 4th string open it says exactly the same at 12. That impressed the heck out of me. The tone is extremely balanced and smooth. The Trace pickup system is awesome. through the bands big PA or my Bose L1 model 2 it dials in easily and sounds great without having to use a pre-amp. It is also very balanced tone-wise. Not my first high-end acoustic. I have a Breedlove from the custom shop and a Guild D55. I love both of them but this girl cost me less than either and might very well become my favorite acoustic. I have purchased many high dollar items from zZounds over the past ten years and have never had anything other than excellent results and service.

What a magnificent instrument. Upon receipt, spent several hours staring at it intently, unable to break my gaze long enough to muster the courage to remove it from the case. After much careful consideration, I decided it best to attempt to play it. Sound explodes out of it, but really smoothly. Like, if a sherbet plant blew up. Very mellow, warm tone. Expert craftsmanship. Also, it smells like a leisurely walk through the forest of one's choosing. Buy one, or several if you can afford to. I for one had to take a second mortgage on the trailer I share with 4 generations of my family, but since this purchase is gonna lead to my big break none of them argued. But in all seriousness, this is a serious instrument at a fair price. And a limited edition, at that. I can't imagine any serious acoustic guitar enthusiast being disappoint in this beautiful instrument for any reason.
