This guitar exceeds all of my expectations. The Les Paul Studio Plus is a great find. Right out of the Box it was ready to roll. It is set up perfectly. There was nothing to tweek. It was/is immaculate and ready to roll. When I began to play it I realized that all the guitar that I had been looking for all of these years was in the Les Paul. As I started playing I heard all of the most iconic guitar patches and licks (not that I could play them, mind you). Immediately I understood how the instrument can make the musician. The good musician becomes great. Average playing becomes masterful. And a simple riff becomes iconic. I play several instruments and have been playing guitar for over 50 years. Over the years I have had a number of guitars. I've played Rock, R&B, Funk, Country and now Christian and Gospel. I presently own 7 guitars (Acoustic, Electric Acoustic, and Electric). After playing the LP Studion Plus, I will be giving away a few guitars since I no longer need them. However, I don't think I'll be missing them. Thank you zZounds team. And thank you Gibson. Also, all the extras (SWAG) sealed the deal. The owner's manual has good information (i.e., how to set up your guitar, and how to adjust the truss rod). The pick guard, the multi-function tool, cleaning cloth, the black velvet bag and--lest I forget--the photo of my guitar on the technician's bench getting its final tune-up were all very nice touches. Oh. Did I mention the case. It's not a "gig bag". It's a real Gibson hard case. You will never have to worry about protecting your investment. This guitar will last a lifetime. If your looking for a great guitar at a great price. Don't Look Any Further.
Sound
Extremely Versatile. I play a lot of styles. And as a songwriter I write in different genres. This guitar meets all of my needs.
Features
The Pull Pots are really useful for quick access to softer/warmer tones.
Ease of Use
I was able to immediately begin playing. All the adjustments were straightforward. The guitar practically plays itself. Fortunately, that part is STILL up to us!
Quality
It's a Gibson! 'Nuff said? It's built to last a lifetime.
Value
Absolutely!
Manufacturer Support
I haven't. And I don't expect to have any contact with them.
The Wow Factor
I feel like I could go on stage with anybody, anywhere, anytime. Thanks to the instrument I am now compelled to become a much better musician. :-)

I have always wanted a USA Les Paul! Like most of us I knew the quality control was horrible at best from Gibson (from a prior purchase somewhere else.) Having always wanted a USA Les Paul I couldn't resist this one in Amber. I can't stress enough how glad I am that I bought it. The finish is amazing and it plays like butter. Push/Pull knobs bring it to a new level. It is a very bright sounding guitar but able to growl with the best of them. Case candy was pretty cool with a quality control signed by whoever set up YOUR guitar and also a picture of your guitar after being set up and boxed. I can't stress enough to buy this guitar if you can. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. zZounds makes it happen with play as you pay and there is no better company to buy from..PERIOD. I would NEVER buy anywhere else.

Rock, Metal, Country but I'll learn/play anything

This guitar sounds amazing right out of the case. The stock Gibson pickups were very versatile, but I changed them out with a set of EMG 81/85. The neck is perfect in every way, craftsmanship is top notch, flawless. This beauty screams and looks good!! It's perfect for my music style..

This guitar sounds amazing right out of the case. The stock Gibson pickups were very versatile, but I changed them out with a set of EMG 81/85. This beauty screams!! It's perfect for my music style..
Features
I really expected the guitar to be heavier, but with this modern weight relief Gibson does has made this guitar a good bit lighter without sacrificing anything like tone or sustain. You get a pick guard, nice Gibson strap, Gibson USA hardcase, multi tool for any adjustments on the guitar, and to top it off a birth picture of my guitar on technicians table right after it was made!!
Ease of Use
This is by far the easiest and most comfortable guitar to play that I own and I own several. If you know how to play then it'll be just that much easier. Very smooth neck, your fingers just float around that fretboard with ease.
Quality
I have been reading and hearing Gibson isn't as good as it used to be, their quality has went down. Well, this guitar was made prefect!! Not a single flaw. I will be playing this one the restof my life, it's definitely a keeper
Value
Very much well worth the price. And with Zzounds payment plan makes it that much more affordable!!! Thank you Zzounds!!
Manufacturer Support
I don't know, haven't dealt with them. And I don't ever see me having a reason to deal with them. Just an outstanding guitar in every way

Haven't been able to put this guitar down. Beautiful guitar ( I bought the trans amber) , the top has a deep wood grain that dances in the light, the neck is smooth and fast, classic Gibson tone plus more with the push pull pots , the new weight reduction was a nice surprise , and takes nothing away from the tone, still has that warm, creamy, crunch we all love, and sustain for days. I'm just blown away by this guitar.

Been playing on and off for about 20 years, just recentlygot serious about playing out as my life has slowed down at 57 years o

Just received this guitar this afternoon, and was honestly blown away. The setup was perfect and extremely playable right out of the case. Flawless finish, the photos don’t even come close to actually seeing it up close. Supposedly an AA flame but looks more like a very high end PRS than a “Studio”... Great price, great guitar overall. I’ve heard all of the rumors about the quality control issues at Gibson, either they’re just bs, or they’ve been taken care of. If you’re even thinking about this guitar or on the fence, BUY IT; you won’t be disappointed.
Sound
Sounds exactly like you would expect a Les Paul to sound; full and clear with a nice crunch with the volume controls.
Features
The push / pull pots are really nice .
Ease of Use
Extremely playable out of the box. First guitar I haven’t had to tweak or completely have to set up. Gibson nailed this one perfectly.
Quality
This one will probably outlast me.
Value
Best value I’ve found on a guitar yet.
The Wow Factor
Excellent. Realizing that the looks of a guitar can’t make you play any better, the quality and looks of this one will certainly make you feel more like a rock star.

That one guitar felt good in my hands I couldn't help but play till my wife couldn't stand. For a classic rock pun lol. From the moment I pick this guitar up, I thought the quality and the sound was amazing. I have Many guitars from all brands including Gibson and this is my favorite. It is very comfortable to play I love the coil taps. I would highly recommend buying one if you have the means.

I just have to say I love this guitar. The finish is gorgeous I love the weight relief. The neck profile is perfect for me. The guitar is built very well. I know Gibson has a reputation for shoddy quality control but mine is perfect. Love the Grover licking tuners make it a breeze to change strings. I'm not a big fan of Gibson pups so I'll probably change those but otherwise this is a killer guitar.

Musical Background:

Been playing 15+ years.

Classic rock,metal,prog

"A Beautifully Crafted instrument in True Les Paul Tradition"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

I had waited to find the right combination of quality, appearance, weight, features and price point. This guitar arrived, and it exceeded my expectations. I've wanted a true Gibson Les Paul my whole life, with my first Gibson purchased back in 1978 (an L6-S model that I've since put away). The pictures truly do not do the guitar justice. It is finished beautifully, and the setup was spot-on out of the box. Weighing in at 7.5 pounds, I'm able to play this thing all night in comfort. The locking tuners are a must these days for quick string changes. The '57 Pickups provide rich tonal output in the tradition of a Les Paul sound you would expect. The slim taper neck is just right for my hands. At 59, I felt like I finally deserved this, and you should consider it too... you won't be disappointed.

Musical Background:

I've been playing 40+ years, currently in a Rock 'n Roll dance band.

Musical Style:

My musical style preferences include Blues, Rock, Rock 'n Roll, Country and some Light Jazz.
