10 out of 10Feature:
The 3-way selector is a good feature for the pick-ups.The pickguard is staying off because the fire-burst finish on mine is too good to cover up with the pick guard. The antique binding all the way up the head stock is flawless. The tuning pegs are very good quality no problemo there kids. The fire-burst finish should be renamed sunset finish becuse it looks like a beautiful sunset darker at the bottom some reds and then ambers...ohhh!
Quality:
The factory quality control was on an all time high with this!No blemishes or cosmetic concerns...the AA maple top is crazy, very good carving and craftmanship...the analine dies were applied well, for the color blends in special all over...YUM!Nothing on the guitar is bad qulity that needs replacing unless you like different pickups..Bring it on the road,it has a nice case made in Canada...hands across the border and such.It should last a life time keep it in the case!
Value:
I think it is worth the price only 400 made well worth keeping.
Desirability:
The fire-burst finish is like a wild sunset...best to see it in person. It is practical for my amp selection.
Sound:
Excellent sound quality...the pick-ups 57classic and 57classic plus are very good. The exposed pole pieces give the direct feed from the strings and have the "rock&roll" Gibson sound. The tone selections are even and dial in from low to high without any gaps.
Ease of Use:
The Gibson Les Paul works great through my Fender Frontman with some reverb, beyond that you don't need much else...It is very playable even down to the lower frets where it sets in to the neck. The string action is low and even throughout.
Support:
I called Gibson customer service ..friendly as a peach cobler on a warm nashville afternoon.Just to verify the serial number ...it is hard to read sometimes because when it is stamped in the manufacturer doesn't want the guiter damaged so they hit it lite.Over all very good customer service.
Overall:
If lost or stolen I would replace it most likely with the same model or similar Les Paul Like a 50's neck profile..possibly in the future I would like to see about "Dirty-fingers" pickups or pearly gates...mmmm.

10 out of 10Feature:
The PAFs are really a good call on this guitar sonically. One feature that is tough to deal with though is this guitar makes me lose sleep because I don't want to stop playing it.
Quality:
The Gibson factory, after a lull , really has it's act together on this product. Quality, fit & finish are second to none.
Value:
This isn't the cheapest guitar on the market, but it is worth the price- and more- for the sound and creativity it will drive you to when playing it.
Desirability:
I have the Vintage Sunburst version of this and every time I uncase it heads turn .
Sound:
Play with the knobs and you will get any sound you might need. Don't leave them at "10" and just mess with the toggle switch. Crunch, clean and all in between are yours with the turn of volume and or tone knobs. And " get naked" with your pickups like Gibson did here. It really unleashes their power to have them uncovered. I play direct into a vintage Fender Amp so the only sound I get is the guitar . This one stands up.
Ease of Use:
Very playable, fantastic neck, reminds me of my 335 for ease of playing.
Support:
I have owned Gibsons since 1983 and have yet to have them on the phone for anything. Best support is the support you never need.
Overall:
Sounds fantastic, looks great, plays well as both a solo instrument or in a group setting. Wish I had bought one sooner.
