Guitar action came set up nice and low out of the box, very easy to play! Loads of sustain that seems to go on forever and not to mention this thing just looks killer. Beautiful axe to behold as well. I'm digging the upgraded tuners and the white neck binding...to me that makes these V's stand out from the older faded and regular 69 reissue V's. Pickups are very versatile, from heavy rock crunch to smooth blues lines seem easily within this guitars capabilities. It came with a brown hardshell leather case with a soft plush interior and very nice handles and locks. No pictures of the case on the website but trust me its a quality piece that looks built to last. Not too sure what I think about the new 12 fret inlay, would have preferred regular double dot, but still this is still hands down one of the very best playing guitars ive ever used in my 10+ years of being around guitars players and bands. This axe is going to get played and gigged with on a regular, its just plays and sounds too good to sit in a case for most of its life. Allso tho not guitar related I do have to mention the service from zZounds was pretty darn good, they followed up a couple weeks after I received the Guitar and played it for a bit to make sure I was completely satisfied, didn't expect the white glove treatment from an online store but ill take it! ;) Thanks to Dan and the team! A very satisfied new Gibson owner and zZounds Customer! Fox

This guitar is unbelievable. I've always been a huge active pickups fan, but this guitar doesn't need those. The sound and feel are bad to the bone. I wouldn't go with another brand because it's cheaper. You get what you pay for, this is no exception. Before I purchased this guitar, I purchased two other comparable ESPs. Now I'm kicking myself. I wished I had just bought a Gibson. Any kind of music you like, Johnny Cash to Slayer, when you play along with you tube backing tracks it sounds like the original recording. It's such a incredible feeling. I finally achieved the tone that's been in my head since I was 13 years old this guitar along with a Blackstar ht5R and a bBlackstar ht112 cabinet. It only took 27 years, damn. And of course zZounds was the greatest to work with again this is my third guitar from zZounds in the past year and I'm sure many more in the future.

I highly recommend doing business with zzounds!! I purchased this guitar on a Sunday morning and later that day noticed the same guitar for sale at a lower price. I called customer service on Monday morning and they price matched the guitar with no problem. What a great company!! I received the guitar today as promised in perfect condition(double boxed) and could not be happier.

I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. I bought this guitar in classic white and couldn't be happier. The neck is a dream, along with that beefy Gibson sound, so close to the sound of my Les Paul, but this guitar is only 6.5 lbs! Pictures can't compare to the real thing, this is guitar is beautiful and it came with a rosewood fingerboard so dark that it looks like ebony. The service from zzounds was stellar, they beat a price from sweetwater and also offered me the 12 payments option. Order my guitar on a Wednesday and arrived Saturday morning. Thank you zzounds staff, you guys are awesome.
