Feature:
Great balance, great finish, great playability. Light ! This guitar really rings, and it's super comfortable sitting or standing. You may want to sell your Les Paul on Ebay, because this is a full Gibson shred machine without the weight and sharp corners. It's beautifully finished, and all you need is right there.I think it blows away a LP Studio because it has a bound neck and body, which feels great.
Quality:
Gibson quality has been
Value:
Gibson's best value - set neck, bound neck, bound body, easy to change out the pickups, impressive hard case. Easily Gibson's best value, and a professional level guitar for a terrific price.
Desirability:
This really is a great looking guitar. It's one of the sexiest guitars ever.
Sound:
This is one hot guitar - and it's a bargain. It has some great playability and it is light, with great sustain.Powerful humbuckers ... some say Gibson's ceramic pickups are just too hot - I don't think so, they rock, they squeal, that sustain !! There sound is bright, but with drive, and they stay pretty clear at low levels. Sure Gibson makes other humbuckers, but these are toothy, while others are warm. It's your choice, but they fit this guitar well.
Ease of Use:
Light and it looks hot. Gibson's really got a winner. These are featured as one of the Guitars of the Week, and all I can say is GET ONE !!
Support:
Gibson quality is the benchmark of the industry.Top materials, flawless assembly and finish, and, dude, hey it's a Gibson !
Overall:
I own lots of guitars, and have played for years and years, and this is really a unique instrument. Great quality, bargain price, and playable to the extremes. Comfort is way up there, and the sound is great. Some people swap pickups anyway, but the basic package is there dead on.
