I'm broke now... lower prices... though I wouldn't trade it for anything

Sound:
Played through a Marshall JCM1000 it bellows and growls. Not quite as thick as the Standard but plenty of bite nonetheless. Playability and looks to last a lifetime. Mine has the chambered body that reduces the weight.

Overall:
Why buy any more guitars? Oh yeah, it's fun to buy guitars. If I could only keep one the Custom would be it.

Some of the binding not sanded perfectly flush. Sound can be a little muddy on neck pickup, but what a good mud. Best humbucker i ever played. sustains forever, neck is awsome, bends are a breeze. I never souned better.

You have to give gibson props for making such amazinf guitars. The whole Les Paul series is amazing, well except for the Epiphone models, which aren't bad either. This isn't for heavy metal players, but a great collectors piece of classical guitar players toy. The vintage pickups give it a real beautiful vintage sound. The tone knobs will help change the sound also. If you buy this, I sugest a large marshal amp to play it through. It's a God of a Guitar.
