Sound: EQs are basically unusable. But a couple of the compressors/limiters are very good. I love the Distressor models...especialy on vocals... very forgiving. This alone is worth the price of this little unit. Feature: I rated 5 because I only use half the unit's feature since to me the EQ section is useless. Ease of Use: Easy enough, use the mouse or the controls on the unit itself, If you know about EQ and Compression it is pretty much self explanatory. I deducted points because you will not be able to track in a low latency mode if this is in use on the session at all. I only use it for mixing. Quality: Seems ok. I do not travel with it , it basically never moves from it's spot on my desk. Value: for less than the cost a plugin, you get usable to great compression with the added bonus of a custom control surface. It's a no-brainer to me... Manufacturer Support: have not needed it yet. The Wow Factor: looks good, lots of little leds and clients love little leds... as a sound guy, it is a great tool. so both ear and eye candy. Overall: does what it needs to do for now. At this price.. hard to replace.
