Fender '57 Deluxe Tweed Guitar Amplifier Head (12 Watts)

Crank this reissue of the '57 Deluxe amp head to 10 for thick and creamy overdrive, or roll back the volume for chewy clean tones with plenty of presence.

The '57 Deluxe Amp Head is a dream. Simple tube deliciousness! Very sensitive to touch and guitar volume, has a wide array of tones available and overdrives nicely with either humbucker or single coil pickups. This is a studio recording set-up and the amp delivers classic sound and inspirational response. I use a closed back tweed 1x12 Fender cab that works great and produces a Marshall-like percussive thonk when desired, but an open back cabinet is a perfect match as well. The freedom to select cabinets is perfect for studio work, but I would gig with this amp, no question.
