I replaced my Blues Jr. NOS with this Princeton, it's a great amp! I've yet to get a bad sound out of it. Tone controls are subtle but effective and so far i'm liking the P10Q much better than the C12n that was in the Jr. The P10Q feels less harsh on the top and has more bass to my ears than the C12n. The reverb is superb. I run a 63' Reverb Unit RI with it and it's great. I wish the Tremolo was a bit more stated like the 68' custom but there's not issue it's awesome, i have a tuna melt if need more or less. Works great with all the drive pedals i've tried which are Wampler Tweed 57', Joyo Vintage OD, Boss DS-2, and Plimsoul. I replaced the standard Blackface knobs with the old style brown "cupcake knobs" and removed the fender badge and it looks super clean! overall i have 0 complaints, yes it is a bit pricey for 12/15 watts and a 10" but for me it's money well spent. I'm using a custom built lefty Telecaster, Jazzmaster, and a couple of SG's and each one sounds awesome. Yes Princetons are scooped and can be a bit thin but that's what i like, i use the tweed 57' for more mids if i need it. Groove Tubes sound fine nothing needs changing to my ears, amp is pretty quiet. i did reverse the reverb tank though! "Comes with a NICE Cover!"

"Princeton Reverb Fudge Brownie"

Very straight forward and easy to use, proving to be a solid recording and practice amp. I'm sure it can jam and keep up with certain bands and play clubs, it is much MUCH louder than you would expect for a 1x10. The fudge brownie version comes with a Jensen P10Q, and this for me was the major selling point. Other than it being a cool color and a true '65 RI. Very nice looking amp by the way. The speaker is very new and tight, I expect that to soften up after some break in time under it's belt, no doubt in my mind. The reverb is fantastic, as is the vibrato, footswitch works and looks classic/retro. To my ears this Princeton Reverb reminds me of a Twin Reverb, just at a 1/4 the size and with more of a rich harmonic presence needed for recording in the high end and a forgiving low end of the spectrum. These characteristics help it to play oh so nicely with Strats and Teles. It also plays nicely with the pedals I've thrown at it so far and I could see this being a fantastic pedal platform. I couldn't speak to Fender or zZounds much because I haven't required any assistance. Fortunately everything came working right out of the box like it should, shipped very fast to me. No complaints zZounds, none whatsoever.

I Just Got This Fender 65 Princeton Reverb In The Fudge Brown And I Like It. It's Got A Tighter Sound That Turns Me On. I've Been Playing Guitar For 54 Years And I Plan On Keeping It. It Sounds Great Whether It's Playing A Strat, Mustang Or Tele. It Comes With A Foot Switch For Reverb And Vibrato. It's A Really Nice Sounding Amp For The Bedroom, living room, studio or small gigs.

"A really nice incarnation of a classic amp."

This is a classy amp, but felt like I was going to need to spend another couple of hundred to get it to where I wanted the sound to be. First, the pictures don't do justice to the look of the amp. It's a really nice job. Beautiful glassy clean tone with my Eric Johnson Strat. Not so great on breakup. I think with a premium package from thetubestore and an avatar celestion or a weber 10F150T this would be a great studio or small gig amp, but definitely needs a different tube to get the sweet spot on the reverb which is absolutely saturating the sound at 2.5. Foot switch is low quality as we know. '65 blackface is its own thing, but having switched this out for the 57 deluxe reverb head; I am now a #tweed believer and never going back. I don't use pedals but the Princeton would do a great job with them. You never regret buying quality, but the stock tubes don't do the amp justice and even with the upgraded ceramic speaker in the LTD version, you would be investing another 200-300 to really get this package where you want it. zZounds were great about the return. Again this is a superb amp, but I have found the sound I want with another Fender product. No experience with support so disregard rating.
