I was waiting for my local music store to order me a SR406, while they tried to get it for me some one brought in a this beautiful Jazz V as a trade-in, couldn't handle the neck width...not a buckle scatch on her. I pulled it in played it for about 30 seconds, told the dealer to cancel my special order and walked with it. IT IS THE HOTTEST JAZZ BASS I HAVE PLAYED!!! IT ROCKS HEAVIER THAT MOST MODERN BASSES, WITH A LOW B!!!! BUY IT!!!

It had good features thogh I can't find a pickup cover for it.

Quality:
Its a Fender, all Fenders have good quality and this is no exception.

Value:
This is the lowest price I have ever seen for a jazz bass

Desirability:
This bass immediately said "you need me" all over it. I have always wanted one of these.

Sound:
This Bass sounds great It easily adjusts to every type of music I play.

Ease of Use:
This bass has a very slim neck. I can play this bass easier than my other two.

Unsure

This is the best so far.

I think the sound is very decent. Has very nice pop and is great for slap bass. I had to make a minor adjustment to really get that low B going, but other than that, its great.

purchased new it played good. after a few minor adjustments was able to get great low action. alot of noise when running single pickup.but with both pickups on full and a new set of daddario strings this bass came alive

Fender makes great 4 string basses ... but their 5 string models are below average.

it is an attractive design
