Feature:
It's a telecaster, so too many features would be overkill. I do like the string saddles and pickups however. The saddles don't tear up the strings, and the pickups have a real bite to them. They pick up every sound with excellent clarity.

Quality:
I have always had a good experience with Fender's quality control, and this guitar is no different. It doesnt go out of tune, I don't have to worry about whether or not it will break. This is my second guitar I use behind my Fender American Series Stratocaster HSS, so I play it a little less than my strat, but I have not had a single problem with it so far.

Value:
This guitar is the best value for the money. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to buy a guitar. I would also recommend it as a first guitar to someone. If you learn off of this thing, you will be a better all-around guitarist as you progress, trust me.

Desirability:
This guitar is pretty straight up. Mine is Black with a white pickguard and chrome plated fittings. I move around a lot with it, so I can really show off when I solo with it. It is a pretty common guitar, so even though I like it, I couldn't tell you about what others think.

Sound:
This Guitar is always second in line as far as live sound is concerned. I play texas country music, and I have yet to find a better guitar suited to clean sound. As far as Telys are concerned, this is probably the best guitar for the money. I don't really use it in recording, so I can just say that it plays a vital role in my live sound.

Ease of Use:
There is a bit of a learning curve to this guitar. It requires a bit of practice, because you have to have a bit of skill to make this guitar sound good. It picks up sound so good, you have to know what you are playing and make sure you play it right, because on a clean channel, mistakes are obvious. Since I have never played this guitar live with any distortion, I really don't know its capabilities on that channel.

Support:
I have not had to worry with anything as of yet.

Overall:
This guitar gives me the perfect versitility that I need for live sound. I play Texas Country, which blends an outlaw country sound with a lot of rock sound and a little blues, so versitility is a must. What I like least about it is the learning curve, and it takes a lot of practice to get used to, but once you have gotten over your frustration and give it a real chance, You will be pleasantly suprised.

Feature:
It didn't come with a case, but for the price you can't whine. I love the simplicity of the master volume and tone controls with 3-way switch. The less to mess with the better. I really wanted a 50's Tele, but with the pickup upgrade, it sounds much better with less invested.

Quality:
Most beutiful guitar I've ever seen at this price! The American Tele's are better made, but not that much better to warrant an increase of $500. The neck is perfectly finnished with even frets. It is very comfortable with rolled edges. Very slim neck and it is so smooth, it feels like glass. The finnish on the body is just as impeccable. Very beutiful, glossy finnish. I honestly feel that you can't get any more bang for your than you can with a Fender guitar. Especially with their standard series.

Value:
Like I said earlier, you can't get a better guitar for $350 anywhere. I always have and always will believe that Fender makes the absolute best guitars, dollar for dollar, in the world.

Desirability:
I've always loved Telecasters. They really appeal to me. I like to play classic country and blues. This guitar does it all. I got the blue version, and it looks great. I wouldn't trade or sell this guitar for anything.

Sound:
Standard pickups sound great. I prefer a fatter sound, thought, so I changed them for a set of Texas specials. It's perfect now. The bridge pickup sounded good. It was very twangy. The bridge pickup was very mellow. For the price, This is a very nice sounding guitar. Like I said, if you want a better sound, just swap the pickups for Texas Specials or Vintage Noisless.

Support:
I haven't had to contact Fender. This guitar is so well made, I don't think you should have any problems with it anyway. Registering the warranty was fast and simple at Fender.com.

Overall:
I plan to have this guitar forever. It is the overall best guitar deal out there.

Feature:
The componets are a little underwound in my opinion, but for the playing neck, action, apperance, and overall cost, you can upgrade for a few hundred dollars and be playing a Tele that costs a grand or better.

Quality:
KEEP THEM BOTH WITH ME FOR DIFFERENT SETS, DON'T NEED ONE FOR A BACK-UP

Value:
Worth more than it's selling price compared to ANY guitar in it's price range.

Desirability:
Telecaster is unique to itself, there is only ONE.

Sound:
For the dollar, this fender guitar sounds and plays much better than guitars I own that cost two to three times as much. In fact, it plays and sounds so crisp I have two of them. One I upgraded to albino pup with boost for crisp treble leads, and one I left stock to have more tone control from Skynard to SRV, it will play the gambit.

Ease of Use:
Three selections bridge, both, or neck. Very easy to play, blends nicely with line-6, marshall, peavey or fender amps I have played it through.

Support:
Knowledge staff, simple answers, few questions, mostly about how color looked in person.

Overall:
I will wear the frets out before I look elsewhere. I would keep an S-S-H guitar around to catch some specific sounds unto themselves, but for 90% of classic rock, you can rock the place well.

Quality:
Superb quality. Arrived w/an absolutely flawless paintjob; stays in tune very well.

Value:
If you find a better sounding tele for this price, or any price I would be surprised.

Sound:
I own a 2006 anniversary model, and just bought the 2008 (black) version. The only noticeable difference in sounds between the two is the pickups. The 2006 anniversary came w/specialized pickups, which sound more well-rounded than the 2008 pu's imo, for both clean & overdriven tones. (The 2006 anniversary pu's can still be ordered from Fender).

Ease of Use:
The maple neck on mine is fast, and easy to play.

Support:
Haven't needed it.

Overall:
With the exception of the pickups imo (which i replaced w/2006 anniversary's), this thing is awesome!!!

Feature:
For some reason the Telecasters I've had have always had a hard time fallig out of tune, which makes them great for live shows. The controls are in just te right spot for quick switching but are just out of the way enough that if you strum heavily you won't knock them around. The chrome knobs are very sleek, and the matching hardware suits just fine. The poplar body is ideal for sustain and clarity, and I don't know of any other guitar that is made stock with a poplar body. The two spedcial single-coil pickups are great for any sound and they both handle well on their own. The maple neck, when set right, is fast and like I said before it takes some getting used to but once you do it's fantastic. The only thing I can think of that I ever replaced that I can recommend replacing is the nut, which is just standard plastic, so I made mine bone.

Quality:
When you're dealing with Fender, you don't ever need to worry about craftsmanship. Ever.

Value:
For under $400, for under $1000 for that matter, you just don't get a better guitar.

Desirability:
I bought the arctic white and black model, which are insanely beautiful especially with the black strings I use. The single cutaway design is a flawless countour and anyone who knows guitars can tell you what it is without even seeing the Fender logo.

Sound:
I have owned two of these now, and both have been incredible. I have never gotten so much sustain out of a stock guitar. Telecaster necks have an exaggerated taper toward the headstock that takes some getting used to, but once you do it just feels right and you never want to play another kind. I use mine to play in two bands, one is mainstream rock and the other is more like hip hop, and I have done country-style jam sessions with it as well. When playing rock I use the distortion out of my Marshall, and sometimes a Crybaby wah, which this guitar has no problem agreeing with, and when playing elsewhere I have a Zoom multieffects processor that the Tele shines beautifully through. It has no problem at low or high volume levels, especially when using a dependable amp, and no problem when plugged straight into a PA or a recording device. Sometimes I even use mine pluggged straight into a computer for recording. You just can't argue with the original, and the Telecaster is definitely the standard in great guitars.

Support:
I've never had to reach anyone about the guitar, so I don't really know how it is. I doubt you would ever have to either.

Overall:
I will use this guitar until I die, it's that good. The only reason I have two is for shows, neither of them ever needed replacing. If this guitar were lost or stolen, I'd cry for a while, sign online, and order another one. The Telecaster just can't be beat.

Feature:
All materials seem very good. The 9.5 " radius neck was finished perfectly as were the frets, tricolor burst is sharp looking. All in all, this low/medium priced tele isn't bad at all. I tried out several other more pricey teles and came back to this.....saving me $600 anyhow even with my buying an after market hardshell case for it, too. It deserves a good home !

Quality:
My new tele had a defective neck pickup cover on it, cover was sloppy loose despite being soldered. Dealer ordered replacement pickup and it was worse than the pickup that came on it so me and dealer compromised on a set of new Seymour Duncans installed. They are on order and it goes in next Monday for change out. I like the medium jumbo frets and especially like the truss rod opening on the peghead so you don't have to remove neck to adjust relief.

Value:
Very well worth the selling price. A real bargain !

Desirability:
Sex appeal and sounds are tops with this gem and very practical to my collection of teles.

Sound:
For the money, this MIM Standard Tele is tops in my book. It is very compatible with other teles and sounds great with my Flextone III 212. Stock pickups have a newer sound that sound pretty good. Goes well with my older country and rock-a-billy, etc. Despite it being the cheapie model, this gem is not bad at all believe me.

Ease of Use:
It plays itself. Good old Leo and his guitars are the workhorses of the industry.

Support:
Other than above problem, all Fender instruments are pretty well put together and your dealer will help with any problems.

Overall:
It'll be playing well after I'm long gone. I can't see paying money for a more expensive tele. Mine says Made in Mexico instead of USA but it can hold it's own anywhere and any time. Alder body is a bit heavy but it gives off a good "ping" of sounds.

It's a Telecaster. I didn't buy it for features.

Quality:
Not a single flaw. This thing didn't ever require a set up. Mine is finished in a beautiful wine red color.

Value:
An excellent well made guitar for around $400.00. It plays better than the American ones I tried while shopping for this one.

Desirability:
Beautiful classic looks. I've always liked the Tele body shape.

Sound:
Neck PUP is is outstanding. The bridge PUP is a different story. Too tinny sounding by itself. Aside from that it sounds very good. Nice clean side and with some distortion you can get that blues sound.

Ease of Use:
This one has a butter smooth neck and nice low action and no fret buzz at all. Great for fast solos.

Support:
Never needed any so I can really say.

Overall:
This thing is built like a tank. I'm 51 years old. This guitar will out live me by many years.

Women make me lust. I play music for a living. It's got the Tele sound I wanted for about $1800.00 less than either of my other guitars. Hmm on the other hand if my wife would pay me, I'd rather have sex for a living.

Sound:
I've always played Gibson. I own a 98'L.P. standard,& 03'E.S.335,through Marshall amps. This Tele. didn't get me divorced. It's a great "backup" on stage and I've even used it in the studio.

Feature:
The only thing that came with the guitar was the guitar itself. I gave it a ten because for the value, it's an amazing deal.

Quality:
Incredibly durrable... Unlike alot of the mean looking, shred guitars out there, this thing WON'T snap like a twig.

Value:
Best guitar for the price. Personally, I feel that this Mexican made model is a better value than some of the more expensive tele's.

Desirability:
Looks gorgeous. Most over the top guitars are sleazy, this thing is down right sexy. I'd have to say that my favorite thing about this guitar is the fretboard and how wide it is. Also, the simplicity of the switches is a pleasant change.

Sound:
Probably my only complaint. It's not bad at all, but that's the thing. The pick ups are pretty average I'd say. Nothing wrong with that though. For the price, an upgrade can still be pretty affordable.

Support:
Haven't had any problems.

Overall:
An amazing guitar that's fun as hell to play. I should mention that I traded in my $650 Jackson to get this "Cheaper" guitar. I've had this for several months and I don't regret it at all. Just a warning, it's a little harder to shred on this guitar, but still very possible. Otherwise, it's excellent for blues, country, rock, metal (With a pickup upgrade)... Hell just about anything.
