Feature:
Materials are ok, but I had to replace some small parts because it was using too many G-strings. It's better now. I wish it came with a hard case instead of the gig bag, but it's all about the price. I read some complains about the finish. Yes, it is damaged rather quickly; but it gives -as I see it- a warmer sound and a great 'worn-out' look...
Quality:
It's ok. Only the g-string connection needed to be replaced. I think now it will go on for ages.
Value:
I think it's good value for money. And I think I go and try his big brother, the original USA strat, to see if I can hear the difference.
Desirability:
I think it's great! It was my first Fender. After buying it I layed it down on the carpet at home and was just looking at it for some time. Waaw, can you imagine, this is me, and this coconut baby is mine!
Sound:
Sound without effect modules is good, you can hear it's good without amp. Polytone100 does a good job with it in greater halls, Fender Frontman25 does it even better, though in smaller halls. I like to play it with Korg1500, adjusted blues selection and some distortion on the Frontman25.
Support:
No need to phone them, my dealer is ok.
Overall:
I think I'm gonna play this for a long time; and I see if I can get a Gibson-type beside it, to be more flexible in the music I wanna play: old swampy John Mayall blues and stuff like that.
