This is an exceptional value. The noiseless pickups are virtually silent. The locking tuners are easy to use. Candy Tangerine is one seriously sexy color. High gloss headstock, satin finish neck. Wow! Well worth the few extra bucks above a standard. I speak as an owner/player of 1 American Standard, this guitar, and 2 Custom Shop's...this guitar smokes. Unbeatable value. Buy it. Buy it now.

Style of Music: everything guitar

The Pickups are noiseless and sound amazing. Great sustain. The body is SOLID with a great finish (teal). The neck is great too. I used to have a standard American strat (tele too) that was a great guitar, but didn't sound half as good as my deluxe. If you're going to buy a standard, consider waiting and saving for Fender's best.
