I will buy more FENDER PA systems to fit my Audio needs in the future. I recommend this system and all the other FENDER PA systems to any musician, DJ, performer, or corporate audio manager. This is a must have. Don't buy all the other mixers, players, powered speakers, Buy this first and you will see no need for anything else.
Sound
I have owned over a dozen different setups over the past 20 years and was very skeptical about going with a Passport PA. My experience with the PA was with one of the first systems back in the late 90's and I liked it but thought it looked fragile. So I blew my money on all the expensive brand names which sounded good but broke my back. NOW I finally took the plunge and paid $800 plus for this system which is a great price for what you get. This system was designed by Bose and when I put it side by side with the best Bose on the market the sound is crystal clear and nearly the same despite dispersion range of the Bose (you DJ's know which one I am speaking of!". I love my Fender and I use it in place of my other more expensive brands. Planning to buy more.
Features
This came with 2 wired mics and the CD player is handy since now I don't have to drag my extras. I setup with 2 mp3 players for Back Up, 2 wireless rechargeable Mics, 1 of these Mics, and my 2 Laptops running different versions of Virtual DJ. The only problem I have had is the police have been called when I cranked it. I find if you put the volume on 4 or 5 out of 10 for the main then 1 or 2 out of 10 for the input you can party all night. Any higher you might get a ticket.
Ease of Use
My performance worries have subsided. I was worried about using a button knob controller vice the sliders that I have used in previous years. I work primarily from my laptop now so as long as VDJ works I am good. I have mixed between the CD player (which is very slow to load but if you get it up it runs great with burned CD's) and MP3 players. Sounds good and I can control the boom, great controls for High, Mid, Lows. This is plug and play at its best.
Quality
Durable, portable, setup and tear down in a less than 2 minutes. The speakers scratch quickly but the faces stay unblemished. The faces are all that matter to me since the crowd sees that part. I have had this thing in the rain and it is leak proof. I also dropped it off a dolly last night skidding it across the pavement; scratched the crap out of the box (should have bought the cover) I held my breath until I got plugged in, fired up the CD player and it worked same as usual. RUGGED!
Value
Priced kind of on the high end but try pricing a high quality Bose & Fender Quality portable sound system like this with Mixer and CD player and see how much it comes up to. The only comparable is the Yamaha Passport but smaller speakers, mixer complicated and does not pack up well without the bag. The others will price well over $1500 for all that. 2 Mackies or 2 JBL's a Mixer, and a CD Player would run you a bit and I can tell you, you may laugh but many a venue has told me they sound just as good if not better than my Mackie's. Oh, and ZZounds was awesome when they included my free speaker stands with this. They look awesome mounted or on a table.
Manufacturer Support
Have not had to use them for support or service after about 5 months. Hopefully I won't have to.
The Wow Factor
Very Sexy, Sleek, and Compliments from my customers have been phenomenal. I want one of each model now, trying to sell off my other systems. I no longer pull a cargo hauler behind my truck for Gigs. The older you get the better you get and the smarter you get. Doing more for less is the appeal of this great system. Wish I had started with the Fender PA but I was critical of the compact PA. Now I will never look back, packing up the other systems to sell on EBAY today. Don't want to spend more on the Bose either, useless and very fragile. Fender now has a customer for life.

Great unit, I would buy another in a heartbeat!
Sound
Sounds great! Good projection, especially for it's size...Perfect for solo or acoustic gigs or quickie DJ setup,
Features
It is pretty basic. CD player sounds very nice between sets...Wish it had line outs for monitors/monitor amps though...Very easy to carry & setup....
Ease of Use
takes 5-10 minutes to setup & use....There is nothing better or easier to setup & get a great sound quickly...
Quality
many plastic parts to break, but so far, so good...It is rugged, but I would not want to drop it!
Value
Best bang for the buck, for a do-it-all easy setup, portable P/A....
Manufacturer Support
never had to contact Fender...
The Wow Factor
Go get one!! you'll love it!

I have no reason to replace it.
Sound
Has great audio range, deep lows, and screaming highs. Good rich sound. Use it for outdoor movie nights, sounds great up close, and 300 feet away from the speakers it is still crisp and clear.
Features
The built in cd player is great, can listen to music while you are setting up the rest of the equiptment.
Ease of Use
Basic setup, easy set up, doesn't take alot of knowledge to use this system.
Quality
Seems sturdy, feels sturdy without being bulky.
The Wow Factor
This thing is cool to have for any kind of gathering...a definate hit. Biggest problem that I have had with this system is that I have to keep turning it down so as not to bother the neighbors.

"One compact PA system that delivers a lot!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
Very good sound quality and sound level. Professional people in the music business are amazed at what this speaker can do. I am amazed too. It delivers big, round, whole bass like it's not coming from the cabinets. It gives crisp and clear natural sound at a level that will fill a big hall (good for 300 people is not an exageration). I plugged in a Roland RD-700SX stage piano, a Shure mic, an electric violin, and an iPod and the product gave the audience the thrill. Highly recommended.
Features
Best useful accessories included the speaker wires that are tucked in the built in cabinet. I use the included Fender mics for emergency and they fit in the built-in container as well.
