I have been doing a lot of research on new bass amps. I had an older Peavey amp which was great but very big and heavy and awkward to move from location to location. I was at a concert recently and seen the Bassman 60 amp and was very much impressed by the sound coming from such a small amp. I would highly recommend this product! I have just purchased mine and am 100% satisfied!

Have owned for 1 year, playing an Epiphone El Capitan C4 through it. The Epi is very bright sounding, which is accentuated by the horn in the Bman 60. OK with the treble turned down, the EQ is very versatile. Major complaint: knobs stick out past the face of the 'flat' side, which normally you would carry this toward your leg. Should be more recessed, the cab has plenty of room for it (perhaps after the warranty runs out...). Want another for stereo affects from my BP200. Have not tried the effects loop, tuner, or the balanced out yet...

I got this amp to replace my old fender frontman 15b for gigs and stuff, and the difference is amazing. This thing has almost no hiss; even at the highest volume it was quieter than my frontman at 2. It is certainly loud enough for most gigs and stuff i do, even at 2-3 it's loud enough to rattle the windows. The only real problem with it is that its about twice the size and twice the weight of most other amps of this wattage, and so its kind of a hassle if you're going to be carrying it around a lot.

A great sounding, quality combo. Not a ton of knobs and switches, but the ones it has really do the job. The only flaw I've found is that the mute switch doesn't totally mute the speakers. Not a big problem though. Definetely an amp to check out.

This amp is loud enough to play small gigs and with other players. The best part of this amp is even with the sort of low wattage it still can produce good low end, and boy can it pop!It has also helped irratate family members.
