I have owned cheap basses, and the only other high end bass was a G&L 2500. This bass blows that one away. Fender has final tamed the "B" string. The 5 way switch changes tone somewhat, but not quite as much as I had hoped for.
Basic black, with the maple finger board, great tone (good wood), easy to play neck...
All in all this bass is worth the price paid, I will never need another...

Bought this bass a couple of days ago. Wow!! I am impressed! I've been playing bass guitar for over 30 yrs. I've had several basses over thoses years. This bass is one if not the nicest I've played. I've played other American Fenders a Modulus M-92 & this one is as smooth as melted butter! Real nice tone& tone options. 18 volt electronics huge headroom ! Very impressed and glad I waited for it to arrive! Zzsounds are awesome to work with! Have bought several pieces from the pay as you play! Very very satisfied. Almost to satisfied! Feel like someone else! Wow! Far out!!!! Peace!
