Superb bass....great neck and classic sound...I am a writer and performer and this one hits it out of t he park. I have always been partial to the precision bass sound because i started out on a p-bass in '84 so even though i've owned basses from curbow to warwick and in between, i found myself desiring the playability and unmistakable sound of the p-bass even when I had highend basses. Now I have a 5 and a 4 string fender p-bass and am totally into the groove that i love. you cant go wrong with this one. neck is solid. brigde is solid, set up out of the factory sweetly, and the sound is unmistakable through my GK amp.

This bass is awesome. It came factory setup ready to play with great action. The bass is built like a tank and so is the case. Made in the USA! My only gripe about it is Fender screwed in the pickguard and knobs/hardware over the protective plastic covering that is meant to be removed. What that means for the consumer is that they have to take most of the bass apart to get this plastic film off. Trying to just pull it off leaves little bits of plastic around the screw holes and volume/tone knobs & output jack. That's just dumb.
