This guitar is everything you come to expect from an American Standard Stratocaster. All I had to do was some light adjustments to the pickup height and set the bridge height at 3/32nds from the base of the bridge to the body and after that she was right as rain! I love having that diamondback humbucker in the bridge it really bites hard! It really makes this guitar one versitle axe!

This guitar was loaded with features! Of course you know the American Standard Fenders come with that new TSA hardshell case which is bulit like a tank! The guitar also has that new copper infused bridge block which really gives the guitar more sustain, and the new bent steel fender saddles which I think our kind of cool because it gives the guitar a sort of vintage vibe. I also like the clear coat treatment that apply to the fretboard and the face of the headstock, it really makes the guitar look classy; while still keeping the satin finshed c-shape neck. Everything about this axe screams quality.

This guitar is very user friendly because the detailed fret and nut work give this guitar a broken in feel and make it really easy to play.

I'm giving the quality a 9 because there was some light scratches on the tuning keys, but it in no way affects the playability. It's still my main axe because Fender knows what avid guitar players want and they stick to it!

Believe me this guiar was worth every penny I paid for! I would highly recommend this guitar to anybody who wants a dependable axe that is built like a tank!

I've always wanted an American Strat since I started playing 11 yrs. ago and now that Fender came out with the new American Standard models I wanted one even more! And now I own one! And in my opinion owning one is like owning a piece of Fender History.
