Sound: I spent months researching the best monitors for me. I produce drum n bass there fore I needed monitors that could handle the low end but also deliver detailed mids and high end. The Event Opals did that with ease. The stereo Field is super wide and the image tight and focused. The only other monitors that were in the same league was the Focal Twin 6BE but they definitely lacked the low end I needed. The Opals are definitely the No1 monitor choice right now and this seems to be consistent across the internet. (Gearslutz and FM Mag etc). Anyways, this is my humble opinion. Cheers Bill Feature: Nice options but a powerswitch at the front would have made them perfect! Ease of Use: Plug in. Sound awesome. dead easy Quality: At 22.1kg each these bad boys are the real deal. They are beasts and are built like trucks! Value: they dropped in price recently so are amazing value! Manufacturer Support: To be fair I haven't dealt with support so no comment The Wow Factor: Sexxxxxxyyyyy
