I absolutely love my LTD 330 of course it didn't come out of the box a thousand dollar guitar. But after I spent $150.00 upgrading my $400 guitar, with EMG actives, I would compare it to any Kirk Hammer signature I've played. I also have a ESP horizon. And I'll reach for my 330 Everytime. I've got a Les Paul custom. Yes my first choice is still my 330 it's a great guitar for experienced, and for getting the experience . Great guitar I absolutely want to make babies with it so I can have another.

I had this guitar for almost a month so here goes my review. When I first recieved the guitar I looked it over very carefully. I could not find any problems with worksmanship however my biggest gripes with the guitar was it slipped out of tune a lot when I played with the trem and it wasn't fluttering properly. However when I didn't mess with the trem it stayed in tune no problem. As far as pickups go they need to be replaced (unless this is your first guitar and you're just learning). I found my rhythm tone was lacking clarity and punch and my lead tone was lacking overall. The way I figured out it was the pickups was I swapped between this guitar and my customized Ibanez RG that has the same exact woods, just different trem (Original Floyd Rose), different pickups (Dimarzio Breed and Air Norton). The reason I didn't keep this guitar is because of the tuning, lack of flutter, the tuners could be better and the pickups. Other than that the guitar is great and I would recommend it to anyone who could see through those issues. I swapped it for a Schecter Blackjack SLS C-1 FR.
