ESP has decided to increase the scale length on the "F" Series and the new "C" Series basses to provide a tighter overall tension and improved performance. This will result in better response from all strings, especially in the low "B" string and 5-string models. If you tune below standard pitch, this feature will enable you to achieve the tension you want without using heavier strings. Learn More...

9 out of 10Feature:
LOOK AT IT. Its beautiful. only beef i have with it is the smudging i get from the black finish and the fretboard. The fretboard wood is a little below par however its overall look is hella sweet.
Quality:
Craftmanship, pickups, tone, everything is of the highest caliber. This bass will make you bow in its presence.
Value:
With the ablity to do battle with higher priced companies without the money-draining capactiy most of them possess, this bass is the absolute pinicle. Its low price tag with amazing quality makes this the best bass, EVER!
Desirability:
HOLY CRAP! BUY IT! ITS THE SEXIEST THING ON THE PLANET!!!!
Sound:
Has an excellent sound to it. I really like the pickups and put through my ampeg it sound like a dream. Only problem is that the strings are a bit too low to the frets and gives it a clanging buzzing sound if you dont pluck the string right. Give it a little fixer upper though and your good to go.
Support:
Dunno. But if its as good as this bass, they must be the friendlist people on the planet.
Overall:
THE BEST.

9 out of 10Feature:
Features are very nice and nicely implemented.
Quality:
This is the tough question. Overall the product quality is extremely good with the exception of the adjustments made at the factory. I found the strings to be a bit too low causing buzzing, and the intoonation was out enough to be noticable which required adjustment. None of these were major problems, and though easily corrected, they lead one to believe that no one plays the Basses after they roll off the production line. With about 15 minutes of adjustment, things were perfect!
Value:
I would say it is a great value. For the money spent, I believe this is an extremely good Bass.
Desirability:
Could not wait for it to arrive!
Sound:
Wide range of sound and tonal quality. Excellent! My last bass (Many years ago) was a Ric 4001 (Am I dating myself???), and I like this as much as I remember liking that.
Support:
Never had to use it, though I will assume it is ok (Half full glass ya know!).
Overall:
I would say this Bass, despite the minor QA questions, still deserves a very high rating.
