This bass blew me away. The stock string were kind if eh, so I bought some Ernie balls(5 string set and ditched the smallest. Had to file nut a little, no biggie) and I tuned it to d standard, sometimes drop c. This thing sounds so amazing. It sound setter than most basses twice as expensive. The thin neck allows for fast playing really well and let's be real. It looks bad ass. Like a nightmare before Xmas strat. Totally would recommend if you're looking for a metal bass, but if you're wanted to go lower than drop c or c standard, go with the 5 string for tone quality.
