Feature:
The one i played on had 1 volume knob and 1 tone knob and dats all u really need to work this baby she sounds good anyway really but if u put it through a cheap amp it obviously wont sound as good. As i said before the pick ups are wicked no probs with them...even for the short time i played it it.
Quality:
The factory setup was awesome (it seems like all esp and ltd's come with really good set-ups, i guess it's cause they're such a good brand of guitar). I'm 100% sure this guitar will withstand a good hard live thrashing on stage, because its in the same leauge as the 'EXP' explorer that james hetfield from MetallicA plays with and he moves around alot and does that kewl looking shot gun movement with his ones.
Value:
This product i think has a really good resale price compared to most other guitars out there, so yea its worth the value that you pay for it.
Desirability:
The sharp edges are wicked and certainly stand out but in my humble opinion I still like the older EXP model's smoother look slightly better but the EX shape grows on ya.
Sound:
This axe has a beastly grunt sound and it can play rock to heavey metal to death metal f!@k'n good. I loved the pick ups when i played this in the rockshop. I played it on a marshall avt50 amp and it rocked!! If i had one i dont think i would change anything in it, its all good how it is.
Support:
I've never dealt with ESP before but the retailer (rockshop) were helpful to me.
Overall:
If i owned one id keep it for all eternity. I also want a Kirk Hammett model too but they are really expensive. I mostly liked this guitar because of the brand and the sound and i suppose the look.
