This is a fantastic guitar from ESP. I've heard many people complain about the e-ii series not being up to par with the older ESP standard series, but this guitar is everything the older ones were and more. The neck feels great, not to thin, not too chunky. And the frets were perfectly leveled and polished, too. The pickups sound stellar as expected from a pair of Seymour Duncans. My only gripe is with the case that it came in. It's a great hardshell case, but the buckles don't feel very secure when they are closed. It still holds it shut and it's not going to break, but I feel like they could have been better fitted. It's a very minor drawback and should not deter anybody away from this incredible guitar. And of course, Zzounds has amazing customer service which is just the icing on the cake. Buy one before they're gone!!!!

An excellent, good looking, good playing, great sounding guitar. The neck was perfect out of the box, and the guitar was almost in tune. Finish is amazing, the neck to body transition in this neck-through design executed in a flawlessly sculpted manner. Frets are uniform, polished, well-rounded, and no strings buzzed out of the box anywhere on the neck. The color, Reindeer Blue is a nice clear blue, the name is a bit odd though. Unplugged, the guitar, when picked or strummed, is sonorous, loud for a solid body. I spent hours just playing it unplugged. The neck pickup is decent, the bridge pickup better than decent, controls are tight and responsive. The guitar sounds great clean and great dirty (I used Blackstar amps). I am happy. The case is of poor quality, came with a damaged and patched up exterior, and doesn't latch and stay latched. The interior of the case is a different matter, almost perfectly fitted for the guitar, if you ignore over-sprayed glue on the lid edge.I will ignore the case, and am very happy with the guitar.
