Really more guitar than I was expecting! And I had pretty high expectations being an call an "Elite". Fit and finish is flawless and the feel is solid and classy. The ebony is black and shiney. The fretwork is clean and perfect. It seems to be set up with 10's but because of the fretwork, it feels smooth and slinky on the bends. The Duncan's are an awesome compliment to the guitar. Great tone from them but retain clarity and punch under high gain. Clear bell like sound for the cleans AND they're splitable! The knob is a push/pull pot that splits the humbuckers! Really a great surprised as I didn't see that in the specs previously. The Floyd Rose bridge is smooth and accurate. I even got a little "Vai crazy" on it and didn't lose tuning once. I have a new outlook on ESP/LTD and can't wait to order another Elite series guitar!
