Even though i own the Epiphone version of this guitar it's just like owning the "real deal". I am not ashamed at all to play the Epiphone version of the "Ace" Les Paul, even though it would be nice to own the real thing. But... Ya know???.. i wouldnt "play" the Ace if it was the real thing because i would be afraid to "ding" it up. So... hence... I play the Epiphone version. It's no difference. It sounds the same, looks the same, and NOBODY knows the difference except experienced guitar players and music store owners. This guitar is the best "BANG!!" for the buck by far!!!... If you dont have one?? ... grab this one... they willnot be around for long. This was my first guitar I ever played and now I'm playing it in a band. I love strapping it on when i go to practice or onstage cause it makes u feel the rockstar i want to be (Ace Frehley). Everybody be kewl and grab this guitar if u can afford to. I love mine. this guitar have everything it takes to rock for the price its the best deal you can have.

Quality:
ive send my ace frehley to the best luthier in town and the guitar has no problem of any kind no adjustment need.

yes without a doubt!!!!

Desirability:
everybody who saw my guitar in my family the first reaction there had is wowww gorgeous even if they were not familiar with guitars!!!!

Sound:
i aslo own the gibson custom shop since 2 weeks and i can barely notice about the sound except the price!!!!

Overall:
i bought my epiphone at a time that i didnt have money.but now since 2 weeks i also own the gibson ace frehley custom shop and i will not sell my epiphone.

Feature:
I just saw this guitar at a store played it a little on a Marshall and I loved it! I tought the pickups were the right choice but i can't figure out what the fourth knob does!

Quality:
the knobs keep on getting loose...the treble and rythem swithing thing keeps on get loose everytime i play it and i have no clue how many times i would have to go to a store to get the input thing were the plug goes in fixed! the top metal part keeps on getting so loose when I tighten it it would play so i have to go to a store and get one of those guys to fix it....

Value:
I think Ace or Epiphone priced it a little too much comparing to what other epiphone are for... But i love it!

Desirability:
Well im a HUGE kiss fan so when i saw it..i bought it

Sound:
This guitar has and amazing sound but you will need some effects to get what you need for that amazing sound... I would suggest a destortion pedal and the new Mutron III.

Support:
I have never really talked to these guys i just go to a store to get this fixed....

Overall:
I love this guitar and i wouldnt sell it for twice the price!

Feature:
I love the 3 pick-up style, that makes this guitar unique from the ordinary SG or LP.

Quality:
I LOVE the finish! There was a slight problem with the Treble knob, but I called up the H.O.G. and they told me how to fix it.

Value:
Worth every penny, the true gift for any KISS fan!!

Sound:
I love the sound of the guitar, it sounds a lot like Frehley's, but it doesnt give off enough distortion, so i use a Digitech RP150 and the result is a searing tone.

Ease of Use:
This guitar is pretty versatile, but it plays best for KISS songs of course, but i have NO problem with that, because that's the reason for me buying it.

Overall:
I will be satisfied with this guitar for life, the only way I would sell it is if it was for the Gibson version ;)

American strats are nothing compared to this thing. Tons of power, sounds great, crisp, durable, easily playable, and versatile.. sounds good on several different amps, but you need a marshall tube amp to get the classic Frehley sound..

Feature:
pick up could use more bite but a really god axe

nice finish no blems on the Ace MOdel I played

Value:
wish it were a little more affordable

its good looking axe

Sound:
sound is great I used this guitar it was lent to me by a friend after my gibson les paul was ripped off at a gig this guitar is really good it gives a gibson les paul a run for its money. I played this guitar in a live gig it did not let me down Now I am going to buy my own Ace model guitar !!!

Overall:
good guitar but i would change the pick ups
