Feature:
Again, the pick ups were nice and the looks and the finish of the guitar were very good.

Quality:
The finish etc were very good. Better in some respects than the Mexican made Fenders.

Value:
No doubt a great value for it being a second guitar on stage or a very good first guitar that wont find its way to be traded in for a long time.

Desirability:
I have always wanted an SG but wasnt that in love with them to shovel out the bucks for a Gibson model. I did think about a faded cherry one, but not having one in person to play on, I wasnt able to make a decision one way or another.

Sound:
I found it strange that this model felt and sounded better than the Tony Iommi signature model and yet costing about half of what the Tony Iommi model cost. The G400 model is made solid and is quite impressive sounding as well as nice looking. The pick ups had a nice bite to them in drive mode and yet when I played both pick ups through my old Ibanez chorus it sounded nice and full without being muddy.

Ease of Use:
I found some of Epiphones necks to be alittle on the thick side(except the Casino/Sheraton/dot models)for my hands.

Overall:
I bought this guitar with the intent of keeping it at our practice place. I wanted to reduce the amopunt of gear I was hauling to practice. Having an inexpensive (but quality) guitar I could just leave was the motivating factor of it all. But now I see I have a quality guitar to bring to the gigs if the weather is too cold or to hot and humid for my Gibson Les Paul to be exposed to.
